Water heater installation

Water heater working well.

There were some billing issues. Fixed after 5 month period.

Watch installers, check what they doing, stay with them.

Check your installation invoice, read first, read it again, only then you can sign it.
Resolve all possible issues BEFORE signing - later it will be only your problem.

Read very carefully your bill - read it first, check all the numbers.

Approximate cost of services:
$322.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
Hire more accurate contractors. Bell/Rogers style of business works only on newcomers and only once.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
Buy a heater - it will cost you much less

Water heater installation

By the phone call it should be a "free" installation. On my site there were 2 extra feet of gas pipe feeding, that added about $30 for the installation - no issues with this.

1. Come on-time, then

2. Spilled water from old tank on pack of new drywall

3. Crack the step during moving new tank

4. Grounded gas pipe with very short piece of wire crossing the window because of the length

5. Added grounding charge ($159 + tax) to the bill without notifying me. During my absence I was working with electrician on another floor, who was able to do same job with much better quality and for much lower price

6. On my question on extra charge, said: "Call customer support they will resolve it!" (it never happen)

7. And finally charge ($190) me for entire installation

After about 2 hours on the phone, # 7 was removed, because only second person agreed it was a misplaced charge. The rest is still there. No traces of installers, because it is third party company.

Bottom line:

For $532.56 (my first bill), you can buy a perfect water tank somewhere else. And no renting fees, of course!

Best - avoid them at all, just buy a heater - it will cost you much less, if you can not, then Watch what they doing, every second. Verify the job. Read before sign, if anything wrong, ask for fix, especially financial issues, never sign before issue is RESOLVED, else it will be only your problem. If they start crying about work issues - send them away with their heater!
