Brinks Home Security

Brinks did an awful job with the install. The installer used a large drywall saw instead of a drill. The saw left large jagged holes in the walls. The installer did not attempt to hide cables. I have a camera cable running diagonally across my bedroom wall.

You are lucky if the cameras record 50% of the time. When the cameras do record it is just short clips. So you dont actually see what is happening in your yard. Just that soneone is there. So much for evidence. Also you are only allowed so many video clips a month then it stops recording.

They also did not say anything about the max video clip quota. I was told that if i kept deleting clips then there is no limit.

Cameras are also poor quality. Ive used other cameras in the past. Brinks cameras are really poor.

Their customer service is awful too. When the customer service rep was asked for their name. They refused to give it. When asked for a supervisor to speak to they just gave another phone number. They also refused to give their supervisors name. There is no accountability there.

I would never use brinks again. I would never recommend brinks.

The sales person treated me like a person -- not a number or just a sale. I've been very happy with the security system and feel as though there is always someone watching out for my children and I when my husband is at work at night. I will definately recommend them to friends as well as take their service with me when we move to a larger home.

Maggie, the sales represenative, was very informative. She helped us design an alarm that suited our needs without trying to "sell" us on anything.
Jim the technician did an excellent installation! My family and I feel so much safer in our home now.
