Large Format Porcelain Pavers on Pedestals

I had been searching for a few years for someone I could trust to build a solid and level base for laying 2 feet by 4 feet porcelain paving tiles on pedestals. Rather than using concrete pavers, I wanted the sleek look of white porcelain for my 1200 square foot pool patio. My wife was so pleased with Camdens work installing porcelain on our concrete patios in 2021 that I decided to ask him if he could do this project too - using the pedestal method instead of laying the tile on the concrete. With his background, Camden proved to be the right choice because he planned the layout and installed the retaining wall and materials to guarantee that there would be no shifting. His teams ease with using the pedestal method to stabilize the paving tiles on the screenings brought me great satisfaction. When you get the right people with the right skills it should be that easy. They finished the job by laying sod to leave the area looking neat and clean. The patio has been an outstanding addition to our outdoor play space for cocktail parties, dining and lounging in the sun after a swim.

Camden laid slip-resistant exterior porcelain on two patios, a sloped breezeway, as well as a second floor deck at my home. He transformed these four areas into the modern clean look and feel I had in mind. After having met with four landscape contractors who did not have the right combination of skills, I discovered Camden's blend of talent and workmanship. He first evaluated the worksite thoroughly and made sure he understood my expectations. He took the time to test options and came up with a better pattern for laying the tiles than I originally had in mind. He laid the Schluter water barrier which is crucial to protect the porcelain from damage during freeze-thaw cycles. Camden also dealt effectively with a challenging change in elevation on the breezeway. He laid the tiles with precision around pillars and railings, navigating through barriers with ease, and giving careful thought to how to create the best result. The patios have now been through two winters and they are as good as new!! I consider myself fortunate to have had such a decent, smart contractor do this work for me -- peacefully, with zero hassles!!!

Camden did a phenomenal job on repairing and Parging the bricks on the front of the house. He took his time to ensure that we would be happy with the end result.

I hired Pride Rock to rebuild my front porch and steps, as well as the supporting brick wall beside them.

I live in a century home, and Im not sure how old the porch was, but the steps were becoming more and more unsafe. Camden was easy to schedule with, worked quickly, was very knowledgeable and polite.

He also added additional support under the steps at no extra cost.

As you can see by the photos, the new porch, steps and bricks look MUCH better.

We would highly recommend Pride Rock Construction for your interlocking needs. The area they releveled and relayed had been made uneven by large tree roots making our walkway a tripping hazard for guests. Camden and his crew working tirelessly to relevel the space with screening and relaying the interlocking in a seamless way by cutting new border stones. The owner is great at meeting your exact specifications in a timely manner. Overall, it was an excellent experience and we will definitely be hiring them again in the near future.
