Called Mike for a quote on what I thought was a fairly simple job, boy was I wrong. He came in, identified my original problem, and then as we went further through the house we realized that we'd opened a can of worms. Secret sub panel hidden somewhere in house? DIY electric Jerry rigged used 40+ year old wiring? Pot lights not at all up to code? Fire hazards, hidden junction boxes and assorted tom foolery? We've got it all here.

This guy though, he likes a challenge. The project kept building in size but he never lost his smile or can do attitude. Cleans up after himself, has a solidly dedicated team and was just a pleasure to work with.

He ended up installing three new light fixtures, 43 new pot lights with dimmer switches, removed the sub panel from hell (4+ hours to find, hidden under kitchen cabinetry on the floor) upgraded our electrical panel and dealt with a host of outlets and small issues.
Hire this guy. I would have been living in a literal death trap of a house if he wasn't so thorough.

Michael was asked to install an EV charger on an exterior brick wall. The project involved running a new wire from our electrical box, across the width of our home.
We live in an old house, and the job involved fishing a very thick 220V cable through our finished ceilings.
Michael struggled for an hour fishing the line. We both realized that the easy way out of this stumbling block was to cut a hole in our 73 year old textured plaster ceiling. We were very grateful that he persevered, and got the wire though without damaging the old ceiling.

Mike responded to my request here on HomeStars very quickly and made himself available by phone so we could have a proper conversation. It set the tone for what ended up being a perfect transaction and service mounting two TVs, one of which had hidden wires that needed to be replaced and fished through the walls at an angle. He instantly found the project to be doable based on a photo I sent (some others either said 'no' or needed an on-site consult first), his price was lower than everyone else's (one insisted on a crew of 3 to do the job, with a minimum of 4 hours), he was pleasant and professional at all times, showed up when he said he would, did everything by himself with no muss or fuss in about 2 hours, cleaned up, and honoured the price he had offered over the phone. I will be hiring Mike for all my future electrical work, not just TV mounting. You know that feeling you get when you've found a tradesman that you know you'll want to keep for life? That's the feeling I get with Mike.

If you want your electrical work to be done right, you need Brella Electric. Mike came in on time to start the project and despite delays from Alectra (utility company), he finished what needed to be done.
I know a little bit about Canadian Electrical Code and industry best practices and I can confidently say Mike went above and beyond in every detail. He also cleaned up all areas he worked in right away.

I had a pretty small job installing a couple of bathroom fans. Although it was something some contractors had no interest in Mike took on the job & I was really impressed.
From initially speaking with him on the phone you can really tell when someone has it all together & Mike really does .
Great communication, prompt, clean & clearly this job was no challenge to him but he still took it seriously which I really appreciate.

Great work on completing the basement pot lights and Ethernet cabling throughout the entire basement in a timely manner. Mike was Very professional and showed up every day to until the job was completed.

Michael installed several pot lights and under cabinet lighting for my kitchen and living room. He took the time to explain the various types of lighting and to work with me on size, type of fixtures, as well as layout of the lights for the rooms. He was prompt, friendly and very professional.
