Alex came the same day we put in a request, and did the repair which required shopping for new vents within a few hours. No appointment, no waiting, huge satisfaction. He is very professional, explained everything clearly with photos and even worked with his able partner in the dark on our roof in the middle of winter. So far very happy.

Mike responded to my request here on HomeStars very quickly and made himself available by phone so we could have a proper conversation. It set the tone for what ended up being a perfect transaction and service mounting two TVs, one of which had hidden wires that needed to be replaced and fished through the walls at an angle. He instantly found the project to be doable based on a photo I sent (some others either said 'no' or needed an on-site consult first), his price was lower than everyone else's (one insisted on a crew of 3 to do the job, with a minimum of 4 hours), he was pleasant and professional at all times, showed up when he said he would, did everything by himself with no muss or fuss in about 2 hours, cleaned up, and honoured the price he had offered over the phone. I will be hiring Mike for all my future electrical work, not just TV mounting. You know that feeling you get when you've found a tradesman that you know you'll want to keep for life? That's the feeling I get with Mike.

Our maple was the victim of the derecho and we were having a terrible time getting a tree service company out to even give us an estimate, let alone remove the split tree that was threatening our neighbour's Bell line (although it took down ours). I put in a request through HomeStars and within a few minutes Ken called and said he could come "now." He and his excellent crew of two didn't just give us arrive to give us an extremely reasonable estimate; they did the job right away. Within a few hours the mess was gone, the Bell line salvaged, and our backyard cleaned up beautifully. They even cut the tree into firewood for us at no extra charge. We'll hire him again in the summer to remove the stump. Ken is a gem and you should have no hesitation to hire him.
