Called Neighborhood Movers to help pack up our house. We were totally overwhelmed at the prospect of moving across the country with a full household, especially during the pandemic. Having so many administrative items to complete, worrying about changing lockdown rules and closing dates and pets and … etc! We needed help. Our moving company was going to charge us $75/ box to pack, ridiculous. Found this company on Google and Rob was very helpful and understanding when I called. He was able to get a crew to our house within a short timeframe.
The crew was friendly, competent and prepared to work. They worked quickly and efficiently and were very helpful, even showing us “tricks of the trade” to make life easier when packing in the future. They went above and beyond.
The cost was well worth it in both economic and emotional terms. They made everything load-ready for the movers so now we can clean the house and get everything else done that would have kept us up at night.
Definitely recommend.
