Neighbourhood Movers

They increased the quote amount day of move. Movers damaged wall and broke things in transport. Then the company has ignored my calls and messages and refuses to pay me what they quoted for damages! 100% do not recommend. Horrible customer service. They quoted my damages and then have been avoiding me for almost 3 weeks now.

After searching 5 Nation Wide Movers and with all their box size restrictions and the total cost, I found Neighbourhood Movers in Lethbridge willing to come to Calgary when I wanted and for 1/3 the cost of N.W.Movers. The Guys were courteous, quick but efficient insuring my belongings arrived in great condition. Thanks again to both guys and looking forward to using them to complete the rest if my move.

Called Neighborhood Movers to help pack up our house. We were totally overwhelmed at the prospect of moving across the country with a full household, especially during the pandemic. Having so many administrative items to complete, worrying about changing lockdown rules and closing dates and pets and … etc! We needed help. Our moving company was going to charge us $75/ box to pack, ridiculous. Found this company on Google and Rob was very helpful and understanding when I called. He was able to get a crew to our house within a short timeframe.
The crew was friendly, competent and prepared to work. They worked quickly and efficiently and were very helpful, even showing us “tricks of the trade” to make life easier when packing in the future. They went above and beyond.

The cost was well worth it in both economic and emotional terms. They made everything load-ready for the movers so now we can clean the house and get everything else done that would have kept us up at night.

Definitely recommend.

The individuals that took care of my move were incredibly friendly and professional, and I had no issues with damaged furniture or missing items.
