So far, so good.

We have had a good experience with Polaron so far. In the last half year, we've had a site assessment and have gone through about seven revisions of the proposed solar system. Chris and the rest of the team have been very helpful in answering questions. We are confident with the expertise of Polaron and with their communication / customer service. Hopefully this will work out in the coming year when installed, but we aren't there yet.

Solar Panel Installation

Although our solar panels have yet been installed, the experience so far has been very positive. From my initial contact, I have been kept well informed and supported. There is a lot of technical information to digest and consider, and the Polaron team have been good at walking me through this process.

5.4 kW solar installation

Great job adding 5.4kW to my 1966 house. Helped me with all energy audits, inspections and approvals required to apply for $5000 government grant.
System successfully installed and commissioned in June, 2022. Basically, a license to print money!! Government grant of $5000 came in handy to lower the cost to $8800!!

Solar array

Polaron is FANTANSTIC. Zero % loan was a no brainer for us. I think the process took longer than most because we started just as the Pandemic hit. When it came time to start the install it was discovered that our roof needed to be re-shingled which took about 4 months again delayed by Covid. Polaron stuck with us through it all and we are finally up and running for 21 months now and haven't paid a cent for power except to pay NSP for our meter. We do have oil heat not electric but working and home schooling, computers and tv's running constantly for a good portion of the time even a few heater fans plugged in to help heat the house, we got a rebate cheque from NSP last January and are expecting another one this year according to our statement. Polaron and the sub-contractors that they used were all nothing but professional and courteous. Just waiting for them to come out with a battery storage solution so we can have power when the grid goes down.

Thank you so much, Barb! Our goal is to make going solar as affordable as possible through our financing program. We did have some challenges during the pandemic and we appreciate your patience while we worked through that.

We're so happy to hear that your system is working well and providing you with lots of savings. We definitely understand the importance of backup power during power outages. Our battery is currently in the testing phase and we'll hopefully have it ready by next summer.

We are just finalizing our process for a new solar array on our roof as proposed by Polaron. As an architect, it was important to obtain the most effective, efficient and compatible system we could for our home and Polaron were just the ticket. Excellent service

From start to finish our experience was too notch. So much work was done on the backend by Polaron which was so good of them. Our whole experience was positive and when the panels began to light up day one we had a feeling of energy independence. Can't explain what it is but we had it. Now we have a stable source of energy that our home , which we love is providing.
