We just used Stone Wizards to replace our kitchen counters. We were able to book an appointment to have them measure and install within a short window of time, which we were impressed by. We went with the quartz countertops in pearl and are really happy with how they look, for the most part. However, there is a large gap between our cupboards and the countertop where the plywood shows. We have followed up with Stone Wizards and they have not been helpful. They have told us this is the standard for countertops of our size, and if we would like to cover it up, they can arrange to have someone come and look at it / fix it for a fee. We have spoken to numerous contractors since and asked them about what has been done, and they have all said that that level of build up is not necessary to provide enough clearance for the cupboards to open. We just spent a lot of money updating our kitchen and it is extremely frustrating to not be happy with the end result. We had recommended Stone Wizards to our next door neighbour who is starting a kitchen reno and have since recommended against using them.
I do not agree with the statement on their website that says "we have a professional team that is focussed on customer satisfaction ... we stand by our work, with a 100% customer service guarantee at all times'
