The Cleaning Lady

Just had our first clean today and we will be continuing with a maintenance clean every two weeks because the work impressed us so much! Not a corner was missed! The work is amazing! The price is affordable and she was extremely personable! So impressed! Lucky we got her!!! We have a decent size home so the price was perfect! Definitely worth it!!!

I spent the winter dealing with health problems and my home was in need of major cleaning and tidying. When I saw her brochure, I called Jasmine. Her businesslike attitude impressed me. She came to my place, made an assessment, and set up an appointment. On the day, she arrived with Maria and and all their equipment and set to work immediately. Four hours later my place was spotless and everything was in its place. Best of all, while the place smelled clean, there was no air freshener odour. Jasmine promised all natural products and certainly followed through. I set up an appointment immediately for follow-up. I couldn't be more satisfied; the work is great and the price fair.

The Cleaning Lady was called in to do a rush job for me. With 3 days notice, they were able to assemble a team to do a deep clean of 6-month vacant apartment. The power had been off before the cleaning, so you can imagine the shape the refridgerator was in! Exposed ducts were cleaned (11 ft high), floors now shine, kitchen sparkles and two washrooms are now very inviting.

During my own major illness, my husband injured his shoulder - Dr.'s orders to get in someone to clean the house for us. After close to 100 unsatisfactory calls, we got a return call from Jasmine who agreed to come look the house over and give us an estimate. In the end we agreed on a deep cleaning (which the house had been needing for some time) and bi-weekly cleanings after that, at a cost that compared well with anyone else we had spoken to. I was in the basement most of the day doing laundry and was most impressed by the sound of activity going on over my head for the next 4-5 hours as Jasmine and Maria worked their magic, and was not disappointed when I came upstairs -- the whole house seemed to breathe easier.

I hired Jasmine ( The cleaning Lady) from an ad on Kijiji. She squeezed us in at the end of the day on Dec 22nd. Then did a mediocre job. She did the cleaning and her assistant did some vacuuming and dusting. Kept trying to up charge for a deep clean (which she quoted at $800!) When all i wanted was a basic clean. In my kitchen she complained that there was a camera after stating to her assistant that she was going to have to wash the floor now as there was a some dried on dirt on the floor. Don't know what all the talk about leaving my home sparkling was about if she hadn't planned to do a basic cleaning function such as mop the floor in my kitchen.

On the phone Jasmine said the deep-clean service involves "touching everything" and she did not lie. Every surface--floors, shelves, walls, baseboards--was cleaned and tidied. We came home to a lovely, fresh, clean scent, nothing overpowering. All of my interactions with Jasmine have been pleasant. I would highly recommend The Cleaning Lady.
