Totally Mess, damaged home instead of fixing.

These guys are totally unprofessional and unexperienced. Hire them if you was to damage you home.
My condo management hired them to fix our building room after hail damage. After that, first of all, we started having condensation prolem in atic and dryer not drying clothes. I thought it is something with builder, so, I called builder to check it (as my house was brnad new) they came to check and told that these contractors messed up vent and didn't removed screen from vent outside, so he removed it. Which created condensation in atic. I called condo management, they sent these guys to check their mess, while checking first peoblem they created second one, they damaged my room's celing by steping on it while in atic. They then came to fix vent i thought everything is fine now. But same day dryer stoped drying clothes and I saw lots of steam in dryer. I sent email to this guy robert, he came to see next day and said he didn't see anything wrong on their end ( or may be he didn't want to see or tell). BUT DRYER never dried clothes after that day. Then i had to take risk to go in atic and i found that they dislocated the dryer vent pipe in atic. There was insulation cover on the pipe in which the steam was collecting and created more prolem. It leaked down to bottom floor from dryer exhaust attached in wall.
And finally now they, denied the fact that they dislocated the pipe. Just keep saying that he didn't see any pipe dislocated. In fact he didn't even check that, because when in went up their it was cover with that cotton-like foam insulation.

Well i don't even want them to fix that because i don't want them in my home to create another problme. Not at all. Ridiculous service.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,111,110,000,000,000.00

Company Response

Hello Jaspreet,

After reviewing all of the information that we have here is a timeline of events:

Oct. 19, 2020 – you emailed (builder representative) from T.....saying that you are having the same dryer problem that you previously reported to Truman in the winter of 2019, long before the hail storm happened and long before we ever worked on the property.
Oct. 29, 2020 – (builders representative) replied with a report and an email stating that we somehow disconnected the vent from the under side of the roof in your attic and that the dryer connection was damaged. This point is important as we had not yet set foot in your attic so there is no way that we could have damaged your dryer connection. He also claimed that we did not remove the screen from the roof vent but, we confirmed that we did remove the screen as we actually went on the roof to check. (Builder representative) report only contained close up photos of the vent collar from the inside of your attic so it is obvious that he is the only one who had been in your attic at this point in time. His report contained no photos from outside on the roof so it is not apparent that he actually went on the roof to determine whether the screen was in the vent or not.
Nov. 2, 2020 – you confirmed with us that you had reported this problem to the Builder dating back to the previous year.
Dec. 10, 2020 – We entered your attic for the first time.
Dec. 30, 2020 – We were in your attic for the second time and it was at this time that the ceiling damage was brought to our attention. We had made arrangements to have the ceiling repaired with (Insurance Adjuster) as we were not sure how the ceiling damage occurred and thought that it could have been caused by us although now this is doubtful.
Apr. 5 - 6, 2021 – We improved the roof vents as at this point the roof vents were still being blamed for your issue.
Apr. 10, 2021 – We installed air intake vents to improve air flow in your attic as your condensation issues were still being blamed on us. Same day you reported the dryer issue again. I advised at this point if you are still having issues that it must be HVAC related. I sent pictures showing all ducts properly connected to the roof vents.
Apr. 19 – 20, 2021 – You reported having your ducts cleaned and moisture in your dryer. You questioned about going out onto the roof from inside the attic. This is not possible to do.
Apr. 21, 2021 – I went back again to look in the attic and took pictures showing that the vents are properly connected to the roof and the issues are unrelated to our work.
Apr. 23, 2021 – You reported dryer problems again.
May 13, 2021 – You went into the attic yourself and noted the damaged dryer vent connection that (builder representative) first reported to you on Oct. 29, 2020 yet at this point you are blaming the dryer vent connection on us.
May 14, 2021 – I suggested that we have an HVAC installer fix the dryer vent connection which was first reported by the (Builder) on Oct. 29, 2020 long before we were ever in your attic. To which you have replied with more accusations.
May 17, 2021 – You have taken it upon yourself to go to Home Stars and post a 0/10 review and a lengthy negative comment.

Based on the above information I respectfully request that you remove or change your scathing review of our company as it is an unfair misrepresentation. We were hired to replace the roof and siding which we did dutifully. We then made repeated attempts to help you with your issues. We are not HVAC technicians, we are renovators who were hired to repair your hail damaged roof and siding which we have completed without issue. We had nothing to do with the dryer vent connection which now seems to be confirmed as the source of all of you problems and stems back to the builder. I hope this summary helps everyone understand the course of events.
