Hunter's Heating

My furnace suddenly stopped working on a holiday Monday. I called another company who helped get it restarted, but hardly looked at the unit. They told me I needed a new furnace right away, and it would cost over 5000$. My father referred me to Breck at Hunter's Heating, so I gave them a call for a second opinion. Breck was very helpful on the phone and sent someone out the next morning to look at our furnace. Kurtis was extremely friendly and took the time to explained to me what was going on in detail. Turn out we had a furnace that had been recalled in the states and we needed to have it replaced. He took some measurements for a new furnace, told us he would send me a quote and advised me to go get CO2 detectors just in case. I am grateful for his advice because the moment I set the detectors up, they started going off. Turns out the furnace was emitting high levels of CO2 and we were told we would have been seriously ill in the morning if we had not called the firefighters and ATCO. The next morning, we contacted Hunter's Heating again and they made time fit us in for a new furnace the next day. Again, they took the time to explain their work, put mats down to protect our hardwood flooring and even took the time to mount the CO2 detectors while they were here. They did incredible work, and the quote was a lot lower then the first company. I want to thank Breck and Kurtis for all their help and I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.
