Andre and Jason were listening to my request during their work on site and made effort to satisfy my needs as a client. I felt they were caring, patiently answered many questions from the time of making an on-site quote to finish the job. Andre didn't mention, and didn't charge a visiting fee for giving an estimate on site. The way he did shown his confidence of his service and capability for competition in the market. I indeed appreciated that.
By the way, I would suggest anyone who is looking for a quote, ask before hand if they charge any fee for a visit for estimate and consider if it makes sense to you. Pay rate around $155 per hour for a service should have covered so-called visiting fee potentially. Remember commonly speaking, how many people who could make a rate over $25 per hour? But they would pay tripple for a visit!
Personally I would say that don't deal with any one who is lack of confidence with his service, product, and his quote. I don't buy a saying that the visiting fee would be counted as part of the final payment as they emphasize to potential clients. I don't buy because it smells like a hook. What if clients ended they don't use the service? Clients ended to pay $80 hourly rate for nothing while they might only make the lowest salary. It simply does not make sense.
