Stair Builders review in Toronto

Hello
I had Peter and his team put in new stairs (hardwood with treads, risers, sand stringers) in April when we purchased our new home in Toronto. They were available to squeeze us into their schedule and were great to communicate with throughout the process. It took about 5-7 days to complete and they were accommodating with the other renovation folks we had at the home at the same time. They also matched the color very well based on the flooring we already had.
I'd definitely recommend this team to friends doing renovations.

Good service but loose tread after only a month

Hello
I had Peter and his team put in new stairs (hardwood with treads, risers, sand stringers) in April when we purchased our new home. After just one month, one of the steps has "fallen"/ loose tread from the riser and dropped a bit. It is the first step they started with, so I'm assuming it just wasn't put in as tightly as the others. However, I've emailed the company several times since May and haven't received a response back yet as to when they will come in and fix the issue.
They were great with availability, got the job done fairly on time, however I'd rate it a 2/10 on quality at this moment. I had to hold back a bit $ because the job wasn't completed fully and a few hits were made to the adjacent wall or new laminate flooring around.
I'd love to recommend them to our friends who recently purchased older homes but I'd like my set of stairs fixed before then.
