Great experience from estimate to completion on a full chimney rebuild on a century home. Dan was thorough and responsive every step and the end result was really fantastic. Great team and very hard working.

Chimney needed repair following several years of spalling due to freeze thaw cycle. Hatten Masonry did the job in a day and half based on a quote that was very competitive - we chose Hatten masonry because they were local and had good reviews and we liked their quoted price.

Dan and his employees were exceptional. They were on time, and on budget. He was great to work with and very knowledgeable with the ins and outs of the job. They did it all from the interior block wall to waterproofing with Blue-Skin and even put a drip edge into the ledge for me. He build a new wall for me and reused the old coping caps I had to keep it rustic. Great work Dan!

We picked full bed natural stone for the exterior of our new house. Very challenging material as it is irregular shapes and sizes. Most so called masons don't know what to do with it, they just want to do veneer. Dan and his team did a fantastic job on the stone skirting and a chimney. He also came did the matching stonework using veneer inside the house. Very good work. Honest and reliable.

I called them back in December because we had water leaking through the faux chimney and had to tear apart my decorative fire place to be able to collect the water in jugs so that it did not damage my floor.

Dan came and saw us in short order to assess the potential reasons and provide a solution. He gave us an estimate that day and assured us that he would have us on the highest of priorities in the spring. As soon as the weather allowed Dan and his team showed up and repaired the chimney. Once they had safe access to the chimney they quickly determined the cause and made the necessary repairs.

Dan and his team filled in the exterior brick on a removed window and door, matching 35 year old brick (and pattern/color) perfectly. They also removed the chimney stack and repaired a number of damaged bricks around the house.
The job was done on time & budget. They we very professional and a pleasure to deal with, exceeding my expectations.

We needed to have quite a bit of tuckpointing done around our house. So, this fall, we reached out to a few mason companies for some quotes. We went with Dan and his team for the job and couldn’t be happier with their work. They did a complete 360 around our house and found spots we hadn’t noticed before. Dan came when he said he would and charged us what he quoted. He even took the time to explain a few of the repairs to me throughout the job.
