Heat pump installation went great
Fair Deal Heating & Air Conditioning installed my heat pump a few days ago and it was a smooth experience. He is now my trusted HVAC professional and I will be going to him for all my future HCAC needs.
I received at least 15 quotes from different companies and independent contractors. I was not happy with them because of one or more of the following:
-tried to convince me to replace my existing furnace on top of installing a heat pump
- did not answer any of my technical questions
- did not provide any guidance or support with my existing HVAC system and how it would work with the Heat Pump
- tried to convince me to buy an expensive heat pump promising insane efficiencies which were not true
I spoke with Ash and he went above and beyond with answering all my questions and concerns.
He provided advice on my existing furnace as it has a free warranty repair by the manufacturer due to a long standing defect (no other HVAC professional brought this up).
He provided me extensive advice on my humidity concerns in my home and how we can tackle it using the heat pump alongside additional hardware if needed.
Ash provided me the second cheapest quote (not a huge difference) but it is important to know that most of the heat pump installers are not using OEM parts for the coil. All the other installers were offering ADP instead which is not of the same quality and less efficient if you look into the technical data in NRCan website.
Post installation service has been great as well. I had a few questions and Ash continues to be responsive with all my inquiries.
