I never had a problem with carpenter ants my whole life! But after moving in to a condo with water damage around the master bedroom window I started to notice maybe one or two ants in the master bedroom and only the master bedroom every so often but I never thought it would be a problem. But after six months or so I would start seeing a few every day. I called the Condo corporation who then called Nate at OWLS who then came over and did a very thorough inspection and he confirmed with a infrared camera showing the water damage that they were coming in through from the window frame repair that was done to the window . After approval by the condo owner Nate came back and sprayed in the walls and all the little nook and crannies and for a long while the ants did not show up. A couple months later I noticed a couple ants that were dead or dying in the bedroom. So I called Nate and he came over without hesitation and he checked out the bedroom once again and also outside the condo near the stairwell which he noticed a small hole which he sprayed and since then no ants. Fingers crossed. Just wanted to add that Nate and the whole OWLS company is very thorough and a real gentleman and you can be assured that your pest problem will be resolved.
