Pristine Plumbing & Drainage

Had a number of plumbing issues: shower drain leak, 2 running toilets, and toilet seat replacement needed. The shower drain leak seems to be fixed and the toilets no longer running.

We were bothered by the fact that he did not put any protective sheet over the floor when he cut open the ceiling to fix the shower drain - chunks of ceiling material were falling and damaging the hardwood floor (suggest to be aware and protect in the future).

For one of the running toilets, Daniel said he probably could not find the replacement part needed in the tank and strongly suggested getting a new toilet as he could spend "days" looking for the part and we would be charged more in the long run. With no expectation whatsoever of needing to replace the toilet, we were very reluctant to lose the current toilet, but fearing a delay and higher cost, we agreed to a new one he proposed. Never having shopped for a toilet, we trusted him on his selection of toilet. When he dragged in the new toilet, all the little pebbles stuck to the box damaged our hardwood floor, which he may not have realized. After installation, we discovered it was uncomfortably high for the petite users (the "old" toilet was still pristine in appearance with an appropriate height and comfortable style).

The other toilet he fixed by replacing the water fill valve - a simple fix thankfully.

The toilet seat he replaced was at first too short to cover the bowl rim so sitting was very uncomfortable. He did return to replace with a non-slow-close lid that fits better.

I had dreaded calling plumbers because of past experiences. Daniel was quick to respond, was friendly and polite, and I had high hopes for him based on all his stellar reviews. At the outset, his quote was higher than expected, but being in need of repairs sooner rather than later, we felt pressured to make a decision and reluctantly agreed, hoping the high price would reflect better value and greater satisfaction. Although we didn't get quite what we expected, Daniel is a professional concerned about his customer's satisfaction, and has been willing to work with us to make it right. That can go a long way in gaining the trust of a client.

Daniel was quick to call upon my message. Service tech sent on time, knew exactly what was needed and brought all supplies. Efficient & effective fix to my issue. Explained & showed it what he did. MICHAEL show up earlier than schedule. Which is great! I was worry about where the leak was coming from. He asked me for permission to open the garage wall to look at the leaking pipe cuz the vent was blocking it so he can accessed it from the inside. He found the pin hole leaked and replaced the pipe t- size pipe. He cleaned up after he did the work. The area he cut out was neatly cut. I can just taped it back after cuz the dry wall I have was very light. The leakage was fixed. I thought it came from several area. But it just came from the hole he found. After he fixed it, no more leakage anywhere else.

Our nearly 100 year old clay sewer pipe was causing backups roughly once a year for the last year and we decided it was time to get it fixed. Daniel did a camera inspection to confirm that we needed the pipes replaced rather than repaired. His estimate was a bit higher than the companies that do trenchless repairs but this seemed like a more thorough and durable solution. He and his crew did a great job, finishing sooner than expected, and the only sign they were there after is the crushed gravel strip in our parking area, which we're waiting to settle before repaving. Communication was great and thorough and we will be using Pristine Plumbing for future plumbing jobs. I'm confident we won't have as many plumbing needs in the future now that the sewer line is replaced, though!

Had pristine plumbing work on everything from interior toilet replacement to exterior hose bibs and always been happy. With the hydrant they provided an accurate quote and good detail on the work to be done. they had a clean and professional job site and finished the work on time and on budget. Will continue to have them do work on our house as the need arises!

One very popular outfit gave me a jaw-dropping price just for the bare-bones repair, and then a 5-digit price for a complete replacement of the PVC piping from my property to the city water service line, because “you never know when it will break again and possibly flood your house”.

Needless to say, I didn’t go with them and am glad I chose Pristine.

Daniel at Pristine provided me a quote within a matter of hours, and at a price I was comfortable with. He said that the problem was most likely the fitting where my line met the city shutoff (and he was right). No fear-mongering whatsoever.
