RenovAction has become our renovator of choice. They have installed new siding, completed a wonderful garage makeover and have just completed some significant decor upgrades throughout our home. My wife and I are truly pleased that we choose Renovaction to finally solve our roofing issues. Almost every year for the last 8 or 9 years we've had problems with our roof. To be fair, mansard roofs are not meant for an Ottawa climate and if we had known we might have been a little more reticent when buying our house. To compound our problems the roof has a separate flat portion. The other estimates we had were either just unrealistically low or very close to the estimate that Renovaction gave so it was a no brainer to go with a metal roof. We took awhile to make up our mind and Renovaction were very patient, but when we finally made up our minds and signed on the dotted line they stayed true to their promises. They adhered to the agreed schedules, and there were no hidden costs. The whole company: Luc, Doug, the installers and office staff were always on hand, friendly, polite and professional. We can't say enough about the installers: they were always on time, always courteous and hard working, never left a mess when they left for the day, work in all kinds of weather and helped us understand the whole process. And they know there stuff ... Luc is a true expert. The roof is working out as well as Luc and Doug promised it would. I would recommend Renovaction without hesitation, and wouldn't hestitate to ask them to do another job for us. Thanks Renovaction.

We recently did a large exterior renovation of Prodigy Siding and Versetta Stone with Renovaction. From start to finish the entire process was top notch. Luc, the owner, and his team of professionals were amazing to work with. Their skills were second to none and we were completely happy with every aspect of the entire job. If we had a concern or an issue, Luc dealt with it promptly and professionally.

He said he would be on site to check the job every day and he was, not that he needed to as both Alain and Jordan were fantastic. Right from the start we had a good feeling that Luc’s priority was doing a superior job and providing excellent customer service and this was evident throughout the entire contract. He offered good advice and brought an artistic eye that was lacking from others who quoted.

I am a very picky customer and never hid this fact when requesting quotes. Luc was extremely confident that he would be able to make me happy. He knew he had well-trained, skilled trades that would exceed my expectations, and they did.

We will definitely have him back to do any future renovation work we need. Also, we are confident he will be there if we have any issues down the road with this current job. In fact, while on site Luc and his crew fixed a problem with work that was done by a prior contractor.

We have dealt with many contractors in the 20+ years we have lived in our home and not one has delivered the level of service and quality that Luc and his team have delivered. I love the look of my new Classic Metal Roof. It is a lifetime investment for me. As I will never have to reshingle the roof again, and the roof comes with a solid lifetime/transferable warranty.
I love how cool my house is this summer. I was told that the Kynar coating has a heat barrier additive that reflects the heat from the sun and makes your house cooler. Well it is better than I was told. It is now August and I have not had to turn on my air conditionner this year and we have had lots of hot humids days this summer. That means my roof is reducing my energy costs and that makes me very happy.
From the first consultation with Doug Emmons to the completion of the roof it was a very positive endeavor for me. Doug was very knowledgeable to educate me on the product and process of installation. He was able to answer all of my questions and concerns. This gave me the confidence to pick their company and product for the new roof.
The installation crew were a pleasure to have working at my home. They were professional and did an awesome installation.
They were more than happy to answer any questions that I had, and best of all they were very respectful of respecting their surroundings while working. At the end of the day the site was checked and left tidy.
My new roof has already proven to be very quiet as heavy rains have already happened.

We met the RenovAction crew at a local home show. Of all the roofing companies we left our name with that day, Luc Lachapelle and Yvon from RenovAction were by far the most impressive. They showed up at our place for the consultation exactly on time, gave a very knowledgeable rundown of their business, and were well prepared to answer our questions. We immediately got a very good vibe from them. Also, they had mentioned at the home show that they'd send a couple of their guys out to measure our roof, and sure enough, the guys showed up when they said they would, and actually went up to measure the roof when it was snow-covered and not the easiest to access. They produced an accurate measurement and scale drawing of the roof within a day, which was most impressive. Another company giving us a quote relied on Google Earth, and they were off by 500 square feet, which put their estimate much higher. We like that Luc visits the work sites every day to make sure everything is going smoothly. We have our roofing project booked for next month, and are confident the RenovAction team will do an excellent job!

Our experience with RenovAction has been very positive and as pleasant as home renovation can be. From our first meeting with a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable Doug to the completion of the work, this company has shown us that they have what it takes to do the job well and to keep the customer happy. We had budget limits and a scheduling problem and Luc worked within those restraints. We never felt pressured to go beyond what was comfortable for us.

Michael and Martin showed up every day with a smile, even when the weather was not ideal. They take pride in their work and everything looked neat and well put together. They were very easy to have around.

Luc…well, he was here every day…sometimes several times a day. He knows his business. He has a good sense of design and made some changes to the original plans that worked out really well. He is a problem solver and is always there for his workers and his customers. He even brought his dog over for our little granddaughter to meet. She is his friend for life!

Doug, our salesman, gave us a professional presentation and made a believer out of us the first time we met. The new insulated siding and new windows have made our house substantially warmer and quieter, all work was completed with professionalism, demonstrated expertise, and a caring attitude exceeding our expectations.

We love our new front door and Luc even did extra work that he did not charge us for (hanging closet doors). That gesture was greatly appreciated. It is very rare to see the actual owner of the company on the job site every day making sure that the customers needs are being looked after.

We feel fortunate in having found a company that offers superior products, presented and installed by superior staff.

The aluminum siding on our home was in desperate shape and in need of replacement along with a number of windows. During our search for a contractor for the job we were attracted to the insulated vinyl siding only offered by RenovAction Home Improvements as well as their line of high quality windows.

We were impressed that Luc Lachapelle himself as the owner of the company came to provide us with an estimate and felt reassured from the beginning that the quality of his products, workmanship and most importantly customer satisfaction was his most important concern.

Luc and his crew were the utmost professionals during the entire renovation process. He also went above and beyond by taking it upon himself to redo a roof and exhaust fan problem we were having from a previous installer. In the end the new siding and windows have provided our home with a warmer, quieter, durable as well as a beautiful new look!

I just want to express our family's appreciation for the pleasant and professional manner with which our roofing contract was fulfilled. Not a single demand, suggestion or request no matter how small or difficult was ignored, pushed to the side or put off as is so often the case once the contract is signed.

I suppose our job was in many ways no different than most, however our veranda was very challenging with its five skylights spaced equidistant across the front and the preexisting roof vents evenly spaced across the rear of the roof. Every effort had to, and was made to place and orient the standing seam sections through the skylights to provide exceptional snow, self clearing, with a visually striking appearance. It turned out beautifully.
