I had ants appearing in an upstairs bedroom in mid March and then saw ants in six more locations on all three floors of my house. I called around and most services were very similar and competitively priced. I went with Oxisix in Collingwood as they had rid my daughters house of ants last year. Steve and Vanessa were very nice people to talk to and deal with. They were very knowledgeable in their field and handled the situation professionally. They used a stethoscope to determine the most likely location inside the wall for the nest and drilled several holes to spray behind the drywall and then sprayed all around the baseboards windows doors throughout my house. I was told it could take a few weeks to see a complete stop of all ant activity. I saw an immediate and significant reduction of ants. After that day I only saw one ant that was actually alive and moving. I did see one or two dead ants or almost dead ants every day or two for about four weeks. Have not seen any dead ants for a few days now so I assume the nest has been destroyed. I will have Oxisix back this spring to spray outside my house as a preventative measure.
