Just before Christmas our gas fireplace developed a problem. We went on HomeStars to find a reliable service company. We called Jeff and he came and checked the fireplace and quickly found the problem and had the fireplace working in no time. As well ,he did maintenance checks on the various components of the fireplace. He also explained the need for a CO detector to be in the same room as the fireplace, which we installed right away. Jeff was very personable, answered all our questions in a manner that was easy for us to understand. With Jeff we know we have received very honest reliable service. We recently were looking to replace our older fireplace with a more modern unit. The cost was prohibitive and a number of retrofits would be required. I called Jeff who took the time to talk me through various options. He was patient and attentive. He came out, took the unit apart and cleaned it. It looks brand new. We have a gas fireplace that is 8 years old, and it simply stopped working, so I searched on Homestars and based on other reviews, reached out to True Flame. Jeff was able to schedule us quickly, which we appreciated, arrived on time as scheduled, and was able to get the fireplace working again within an hour.

What we really appreciated was that Jeff gave us a lot of great tips on how to keep the fireplace free from future issues, gave us lots of instructions on the new remote / system to start the fireplace, and was really professional and easy to work with. Service was 10 out of 10.

We have a 5 year old fireplace that stopped working. Jeff responded quickly and arrived when he said.
The job was complex and tricky but he persevered and kept me up to date on costs, including telling me he made calls to the manufacturer, etc.
He apologized for the costs but most of it was parts.
