I contracted Andrea of Modernscape to replace my retaining wall. He wanted the money up front to pay his workers and get the materials. That was December, 2018. It is now almost July and he has not shown up to complete the job. And he left his materials and garbage on my property. All I have is a temporary frame, which is useless. Don't pay him up front. In fact, don't use his services at all. Too many personal issues and he is not reliable or responsible.
