As first time home owners we were already overwhelmed with the learning curve of maintaining a home. So when both our painter and cleaner suggested that we have our very dirty ducts cleaned we were apprehensive. A couple of calls made us realise that this was a messy, expensive job.
And then our Google search led us to Terry from Shiny cleaning. Though a modest number of reviews his company had 5 stars and was open "24/7". I called and spoke to Terry who was luckily available the next day and outed us by fat the most reasonable price for the job.
Next day, Terry was considerate enough to message us that he was getting late and once he showed up he ran us through the entire process. We chatted about cricket while he efficiently went about the house opening the ducts. He also offered the disinfecting service at a considerable discount and finally the cherry on the cake was that he offered us a FREE dryer vent cleaning as a gift for our new home.
In the middle of unopened cartons, a cranky toddler and the summer heat, Terry was a literally a breath of fresh air. Pun intended :)
