A deposit was provided in good faith when the contract was signed with Pro-Fence to replace a portion of our fence in June 2018 with the expectation that work to be started early September. Initially I noticed they seemed slow to respond to inquiries and phone calls, but assumed it was because there was a high demand for fencing in Ottawa due to several wind storms this summer. The install date came and went with us having to make the call to inquire as to the status of our work order. Pro-Fence delayed the install date more than one and then contacted us and asked to push it forward to the Spring season. I can not comment on the quality of work as we have now asked for the return of our deposit and will cancel the contract but the management of this business does not meet my standards nor give me a good feeling about their craftsmanship.
