Ed's contracting and bobcat services

Ed came and installed an area for my raised beds as well as installed some sod. The areas look great!

Great, quick, efficient service. Very responsive. Ed moved a large amount of dirt quickly to allow my landscape project to proceed. Site was left clean. 100% met all expectations.

Ed came the same day I reached out to clear excess soil and some rocks. He made an effort to provide everything we needed and went above and beyond to leave the site cleaner than I even imagined. I would use this company again.

I don't usualIy give reviews but in this instance am willing to do so. I found Ed through a Kijiji search. I was looking for someone with a bobcat to clean up my front yard after having a very large evergreen removed. After the stump grinding was done there were still a lot of tree roots remaining, plus landscaping rocks and gravel I wanted removed.
I called Ed on a Sunday expecting to leave a message. Not only did he answer my call, he came later that day to view the job and start preparing a quote. Ed's price was agreeable and we proceeded. Ed was able to remove all of the roots and then brought in new top soil and laid the sod. He was meticulous in leveling and grading the yard before the sod was installed and it is now growing in very well and looks great. Ed was considerate of our neighbours and was always respectful of our property. When he was gone the site had been thoroughly cleaned up which we appreciated. I would not hesitate to use Ed again and would highly recommend him to anyone else looking for this type of service.

Ed quoted a price, and scheduled a date, then didn't show up or text on the scheduled date. A couple days later he texted that he underquoted the project. We agreed he would just do the front yard. He didn't keep track of what I asked him to do, there was a lot of repeating what I wanted. Granted I added a couple tasks to the project which could have caused some confusion. He constantly rescheduled and didn't text to let me know when he was actually coming. Although I liked the work he did (mostly) some of it was a little sloppy (he left materials behind), did a not great job of the retaining walls, and then he texted 2 days after completion saying he wanted to show up at my house "later today" (he never gives times). I asked why, he said to give you the invoice and so you can pay me. He wanted a check or bank draft . Who has checks?! His work is decent, his communication skills, administrative ability, and ability to show up at promised days/dates is a complete gong show.

Ed removed concrete walk-way and stairs for us. He gave us a very reasonable quote and when the job ended up being harder than expected, he still only charged his original price. He is friendly and very easy going! As a bonus, he helped my husband by digging additional fence posts!

Ed exceeded our expectations and wouldnt hesitate to recommend or hire Ed again.

Ed ripped out our old asphalt driveway and laid down some fresh top soil in place. Part of the driveway was inaccessible using his bobcat, so Ed ripped that part out manually using a crowbar and sledgehammer. I appreciated the fact that he didn't try to force the bobcat and risk damaging anything. He worked all day from 8am to 8pm and did an outstanding job...I would recommend him to anyone.

Ed was able to fit us in with short notice for a small backyard dirt removal. He was professional and we and went above and beyond to clean up and Mae the yard look clean when he was done. Very easy and professional to deal with.
