Ed quoted a price, and scheduled a date, then didn't show up or text on the scheduled date. A couple days later he texted that he underquoted the project. We agreed he would just do the front yard. He didn't keep track of what I asked him to do, there was a lot of repeating what I wanted. Granted I added a couple tasks to the project which could have caused some confusion. He constantly rescheduled and didn't text to let me know when he was actually coming. Although I liked the work he did (mostly) some of it was a little sloppy (he left materials behind), did a not great job of the retaining walls, and then he texted 2 days after completion saying he wanted to show up at my house "later today" (he never gives times). I asked why, he said to give you the invoice and so you can pay me. He wanted a check or bank draft . Who has checks?! His work is decent, his communication skills, administrative ability, and ability to show up at promised days/dates is a complete gong show.
