Great professional work, honest, solution driven they did an exceptional job highly recommend. Our property was a mess after building a coach home and even with snow on the ground we were able to create a design, there was an issue with stone stairs and tripping hazards they were able to pivot and redesign without issue.

Really excellent work. Stones were cut perfectly to fit and appropriate effort was taken to prepare the ground. Even though there were a couple of misunderstandings in interpreting the drawings, the team were very cooperative and quick to remedy. The end result is beautiful. Would definitely use this contractor again.

Buyer Beware- Company does NOT honour contract. Regardless if you have a binding contract, company may attempt to revise it , delete agreed upon material, alter it and add a significant cost increase and require you to agree to it. ( as they did to us a month before work was to begin) If you question it or do not agree ,they will dump your contract hoping for no repercussions.
As owner said to me, there is many new clients who are willing to sign and give company deposit that is now more lucrative for them( company) then complying with current contracts.

Empire Deck and Fence was the best contractors we've ever worked with. They were incredibly professional, on time and communication was great.
We had a few challenges and we really appreciated the way they overcame them. For example, we are in a townhome and our legal right of way to the backyard was too narrow for the bobcat. So Empire negotiated with our back neighbours to use their yard, and put down fresh dirt and grass seed down and reset their paving stones for them to restore their yard when they were done.
They were not the cheapest quote we got, but we're still glad we paid extra and we're really happy with our new patio and deck.

Empire came in at the beginning of the pandemic and was very professional and organized from the beginning. From sales (Riley), to project management (Ryan, John), to the guys that did the hard work (Jason, Danny, Will, Bill). Everyone was clearly well versed in their craft and they built a fantastic finished product for us. Whenever we needed to adjust and make changes, they were quick to respond and were very proactive in giving us what we asked for. Prices were also very reasonable compared to other contractors of their size. There is a warranty and they have already come back to fix up some small things. Our project grew a lot through planning and actual work. Couldn't be happier with the finished product.

When we contacted Empire, they were very quick to respond and sent a representative to discuss what we were looking for. The quote for the project arrived shortly so we were able to make some adjustments . Fast forward two months later when the project was able to resume due to the pandemic, we had a few guys come out and started the project. Throughout the time that the guys were here, they included us in any on site decisions and kept us informed of any setbacks (mostly, because of the pandemic and the availability of some materials) that they encountered. When they left, they made sure the area was as clean as when they arrived and leave me with some extra pieces.
This is our second project with them and between the customer service and the final result, we would highly recommend Empire.

We hired Empire to get a last minute spot in the 2020 calendar for a driveway interlock extension. Initially we had to play a bit of phone tag to get a project completion date. Due to COVID related material shortages, we almost got pushed out of our project window, but our project manager John, managed to source the exact colours we wanted this year, of which he had recommended at our site consult to best match our house. John was helpful and friendly throughout the process, his crew were also great- friendly, efficient and most importantly, did a great job. The interlock looks awesome and we’re thrilled he managed to source materials in time to complete it before the first snowfall!

Did a great job with the backyard fence for my new build. would highly recommend this company, and will be using them in the future to build a deck as well.
