Empire Deck & Interlock

We had a complicated fence replacement project with differences in grade and large trees along the fence line. Empire addressed these issues and identified solutions for them at a competitive price. Their work was very high quality. Their employees arrived on time and cleaned up before they left. They were efficient and completed the job within the specified deadlines. Overall it was a great experience working with them. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Empire has completed the interlock in the front of our house, and now the patio in the rear of the house. Always professional and always quality workmanship. We are running out of spaces for Ryan and the team to work on. Going to need a new house!!

We recently contracted with Empire Deck to replace our original wood deck with a larger version in composite. The work from design through construction was carried out professionally with good communication at every stage. The on-site team was competent and friendly, and did a complete cleanup at the end of each day. We are very pleased with the end result and are looking forward to enjoying a summer of self-isolation on our new deck.

We requested a fence be put up and we dealt with a couple of professional and pleasant people. The fence looks great and went up fast. It was installed in Dec so I will see how everything is in the spring. They have offered to come back if there are any issues. They ran into a couple of issues not of their doing such as measurements, city lines, trees. They took care of everything.

After perusing the BBB site which listed this company with an A plus rating, I hired them in May of 2018 to build two small decks. I ordered Trex composite “Aspen”, aluminum railings, glass on the back deck. I paid approximately five thousand dollars as a deposit. October passed, then November arrived. My husband and I arrived home to find a huge hole in the backyard, a leg breaker, actually! I called many times and had no response until the following spring. I asked for a start date of May, 7. Absolutely nothing was begun, in fact, somehow the materials that I purchased were no
longer there. Somehow the Trex was unavailable so I was asked to choose a colour from a small sample on the internet. Several months passed and there was no deck or front porch constructed. Finally on November 25, 2019 the work was completed. I had to hold back ten percent as the craftsmen had pieced two boards together which resembled a patchwork quilt. They also had installed a post that was clearly defective as it exhibited several deep gouges. It took eighteen months to do the job, yet the company was able to send the invoice in two days!!!! I would NEVER recommend Empire Decks and Fences to

Empire Deck and Fence came to complete a cedar fence and install a new patio and pathways in the backyard. The finished product is beautiful. We are very satisfied with the professionalism and attention to detail exhibited by all their staff.
