Outstanding from start to finish! Alex was fantastic explaining and showing product. He was very honest and helped with every step on the way. The installation was quick and easy. Loving our new door and windows, highly recommended.

I had all the windows (including a bay window) and the patio door of a 2-storey detached house replaced with Argon-filled, low-e coated, double glazed PVC units (wood interior trims) from North Shield Windows this summer, and am very pleased with the choice.
The sales person was straight talking and very knowledgeable. We discussed double vs triple glaze and different low-e coating on the glass with respect to cost, energy performance (both summer and winter) and government rebate implications. We also discussed choice of awning vs casement window for different situations (window sizes, locations and usage). I was advised of the realistically long wait period of 3 months. I had obtained 5 different quotes and I felt the interactions with North Shield Windows was the best. Their quote was not the cheapest but in line with others of similar (I felt) quality.
Installation took place in the time as promised. The installation crew was most efficient and did a good job. The crew of 3 worked from 9 am to 8 pm and was able to complete all installations. The workmanship was good (inside and outside) and only very minor touch-ups were necessary to the paintwork around one or two of the windows (I had expected more extensive touch-up work). Everything worked smoothly without any problem.

I contacted Alex at NorthShield doors as I wanted to enclose the front porch on my house, as well as replace a few doors. Alex worked with us, gave great advise about design, door options, and colour. He made time to meet us at the showroom so we could see samples of the actual doors before making a decision. Once we placed the order, he kept us informed of the delivery status. The doors were installed ahead of schedule and professionally.

These guys promised amazing work and lived up to the expectation... and more! Great communication; right from the initial meeting through to the end of the project. Their crew were prompt, friendly, and efficient - finished out entire job in 1 day as promised. No mess for us to tidy up - they left the place looking nice and clean. Received a grrat service from everyone I dealt with. The estimator was very informative and the labourd were respectful, clean (for construction) and fast. Job was done in 1 day instead of 2. Quality work at a very competitive price. I got from 4 differnet companies, very hapoy I chose Northshield.

North Shield replaced all the windows (6) and doors (2 primary and 2 sliding) in my home. The previous materials were installed when the house was built in 1992, and were pretty low quality. North Shield talked through the options and products. They provided opinions when asked, but weren't forceful. I talked to multiple vendors and the other vendors did more upselling and were less respectful of their peers.

The installation team was professional and polite. They were able to answer the few questions I had.

The windows and doors look good, and all the obvious drafts are gone. I haven't lived with them through a winter yet, but I'll try to update once I have.

Service and installation were excellent. We are very satisfied with the windows. Flashing and caulking was also done very well.

We were very impressed by Alex's professionalism, puntuality, and customer service throughout our dealings with him. The installation team was efficient and above all, cleaned up after themselves the installation day. A pleasure to deal with!

From start to end Alex has been very straightforward and had the best prices for quality. I had call roughly 15 other window companies and none came close for pricing. The other companies were pushing and claiming costs were increasing in 2 weeks and to give them a deposit. Alex took the time and effort to guide us through the entire project answered multiple questions over a period of 5 months. The day of installation the team were professional and took care of the entire project from start to end including ensuring the house was cleaned of the debris from the installation.
