I would highly recommend Stephen and his crew for any roofing job. He provided a very reasonable and accurate quote and brought colour samples of the shingles to our house for review. They replaced the shingles on the roof in one day and it was done very professionally with excellent workmanship and cleanliness. They even cut some tree branches that were overhanging onto the roof and painted the chimney stack at no additional cost. Thanks Stephen for your extra efforts!

In May 2014, we used Blackshield roofing to replace our cedar shake roof in our 2100 sq ft bungalow. Blackshield replaced 2 skylights, added more ventilations, one solar ventilator and 50 yrs Malarky laminated shingles with a heavy duty Rhino underlay. Stephen and his crew of 3 were well orgainized, excellent workmanship, clean, very professional from start to finish. The entire job took 3 days to complete. He uses the best quality materials, no hidden costs, the entire project was completed on time and within budget. We recommended him to 3 other family members and they had their roofs done by blackshield. We also had our rental property done by stephen. We had a spot on the roof where the shingles were being damaged by water running from the spouT. Excellent work, fast service, called and someone was out right away! Can't even see where repair was!!! Great experience

I am writing a review on a shingle job that was done on our home over three years ago, because after all this time Steve from Blackshield came out for a no charge service call last week for an issue with the eves that was not even related to the excellent work that was done by his company. The roof still looks fantastic and Steve and his crew are very professional and true to the penny on the quote. They even installed a whole bunch of roof vents that we never had and should have had. Blackshield roofing did an amazing job . very reasonable and most of all being able to stand up for their word . Prticularily Steve I should mention for his sincerity and eagerness to give his customers the best is rare to find these days. I am so glad I came across them and even a year after I often talk about them so that no one gets ripped off by another inferrier quality product or a contractor. Blackshield Roofing was amazing.
The house that we needed roofed was a rental home in Edmonton. As I do not live anywhere near Edmonton I needed good communication and a reliable company.
They gave me a quote for all the work that needed to be done. I felt his quote was reasonable and we set a date for the job to be done.
Beyond my expectations.... They showed up on the scheduled day, completed the job, left NO mess and took pictures of the work.
100% pleased with the work when we did see it.
