Tempasure Heating And Air Conditioning

Our furnace stopped blowing heat in the middle of the afternoon during one of the coldest days so far this winter. We contacted Tempasure as they had installed our furnace. A member of the team was dispatched the next morning and fixed the issue.

Upon call of advertised number and speaking to an agent, I received a prompt call back from Len who indicated that someone could come out on the same day. He also asked me to provide an email with my contact details that I had given real to the "call center" lady. After about 1 hour, I called back to inquire when the technician would actually come (same lady asked me for the exact same information that I had in the meantime already sent by email). I then received a prompt call back again from Len. Eventually, I received a storm of text message with various ETA estimates for the technician. All this was good despite the redundancy of providing my contact information now 3 times!

The let downs of this service and why I wouldn't work with this company again are:

Call center quoted me a rate that Len then said was wrong and raised it by a certain amount (no big deal, I told myself) - however, this should have raised red flags already. I had clearly described the problem to the call center and in my email, with exact details and boiler information. Dishonesty!

The technician who came on site hardly did anything, besides repeating the problem that I had given to the call center lady, described to Len, and provided in an email. My email even described the exact boiler model in detail specifying model number that gives an indication of boiler age.

Technician simply told me that the boiler is too old and that nobody repairs boilers anymore. For this I was charged $180. Based on my problem description and the boiler model I provided in writing, this analysis could have been done on the phone. Obviously, then they'd not have earned $180!

The quote they followed up with promptly after the visit, didn't include the discount for the useless service call. I'd have at least expected to get that amount deduced from the 12Kish quote.

There are cheaper companies out there who'd tell you the same. I will stay away from them.

I am very happy to recommend this company. I contacted them for a second option regarding a boiler repair for which I had been told it would take 2 weeks to get the part needed to fix the problem. We had already been without heat for 3 weeks over the Christmas holidays. Len was very helpful sending a service person over that day and working well into the evening to source the part and prepare a repair quote. He obtained the part needed in less than 24hrs and had the repair done by the next afternoon! I am so appreciative of the quick and affordable service. Give them a try!

2 furnaces serviced fast, very competent - and free followup when I had issue - they offer price before the come so no suprises. They can also do other appliances like A/C, water heater (had tankless flush done also - same great service)

The limit switch on my surface had started tripping so called Tempasure for service. This was on the 29th of December so stressful with the long weekend coming. Fortunately they were able to come that night, unfortunately it was determined that the heat exchanger on my old furnace was cracked.

Busy time with the long weekend but Len was good enough to move some work around and get somebody over the next day to install the new furnace. Not sure how much was the old furnace failing and how much is newer technology but it's night and day in the house with much better heat and no major cold spots, particularly my basement which was always chilly in the winter. Look forward to seeing difference in my electric bill not needing to use heaters in the basement anymore!

Company provided great service and repair person was punctual, and quick to get our Nest thermostat to function after I guess I bumbled the initial Try to install. I will definitely use them in the future.

Very professional and they were able to fit me in the same day service. Gave me a time slot as well as a call 30 mins notice prior to arriving to my home.
The service man that arrived to my home was also very professional and explained in detail what the problem/issue was and completed the work promptly.

Tempasure installed a new humidifier for us. Despite it being done perfectly, we weren't getting the humidity levels we needed. They came back and spent hours finding an alternate configuration to make it right, for no extra charge.

They really go the extra mile to make sure their customer's get the result they need!
