The large element on my stovetop wasn't working, despite our purchasing a new element. Apparently, the burner's switch had burnt out.
Mors from Top Tech arrived within an hour of my call. He was friendly, and quickly fixed the problem - hereplaced the switch and tested all the burner elements. The entire job took under a half hour, and I'm able to cook again.
