Fixed AC within 5 hours of posting
Sam from Climax called within 10 mins of posting the job and he was at the house by 6 that evening. He asked me to do a couple of easy things (turn on AC) , and he got to work, figured out the problem within 5 mins, fixed it and was on his way. I can't believe how profession, focused and helpful he was (he gave me 2-3 pointers on extending the life of the AC unit). I recommend Climax and Sam - full stop - 10/10.
On a side note I'd been through about 45 mins on the phone with one of the big guys who was trying to sell me a yearly protection package and an up front fee that just made no sense.

I'm so happy I found Climax AC and of course Sam THE MAN. They'll get all our heating and cooling work for our home from now on.
