Reliance Home Comfort Calgary

I had an 18 year old water tank that needed replaced ASAP so I called Reliance home comfort and Ken hill showed up the same day. His service was impeccable, and knowledge of hot water tanks was top notch. I will recommend reliance to anyone who needs any hot water tank, furnace, or AC and I would tell them to ask to send Ken Hill his professionalism is next to none. I would recommend him to family and friends.

Had the system installed by Darren and Benny a couple of weeks ago. Everything went fairly smooth, but a few small hiccups, but that was to be expected as nothing ever goes exactly as planned. But they did an excellent job of adapting and still getting everything completed.

Everything works great, they kept everything neat and clean.

The only issue was from the Sales side where I was told it there would be no drop in pressure for two showers, but there is a difference when you have two going at the same time. This might be from the way the house lines are run, but would of been great to of known before hand.

But all in all I would use the company again and will keep them in mind when I go to do my furnace.

Darren & Benny installed an air conditioning unit for us and did an excellent job, they were on time and did a very efficient and professional install. Best of all Darren and Benny were extremely personable, and addressed all questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

Stepping in a pool of water in our basement was how I discovered our water tank had sprung a leak. We called Reliance and within an hour Jason called to let us know he was about 5 minutes away. Our tank was a relic so the leading pipes also had to be replaced but he did all that and replaced the tank. In a couple of hours, we had hot water restored by a very friendly, courteous & professional fellow who covered his boots and laid out a long mat to protect our floors. Great job and you can't ask for any better!

Brian did an excellent job installing my hot water tank. He was right on time, explained everything and left the work area spotless! I am very pleased with the install.

Our furnace broke and we were freezing. Reliance got a guy to our house very quick and in no time he located the problem and got the part and fixed it. Very happy with how friendly and effecient the he was. Prices are more than reasonable, we didn't break the bank. Would definitely recommend reliance to anyone and will use them in the future.

Jamie and Darryl were prompt, friendly, knowledgeable and did a very good job. They did a very good cleanup at the job site. I would be happy to have Jamie and Darryl do any further projects. Also, Brenda MacKay was prompt, knowledgeable and helpful.

We bought a Nest Thermostat, and after contacting Nest we found out its rare but we needed some extra wiring in order for our thermostat to work with the furnace. Nest sent us a list of recommended dealers and Reliance was one of the first on the list, so we phoned them. The tech we got kept complaining how dumb and annoying the thermostats are, basically telling us its a waste of money and they break all the time. He didn't even end up wiring it properly and we had to fix it after we left. I don't think he had any idea what he was doing. He also kept saying how they shouldn't be on the Nest approved companies to work with and he's pretty sure his boss doesn't know about it. Needless to say, we're glad Nest refunded us the money to have him come in or else we would have been complaining for sure.

On the evening of November 11, 2014 my furnace quit working. I called the Reliance 24 hour emergency line and a technician (Lorne) got back to me quickly. When he came over he determined the computer board was faulty, but could not access a replacement until the next morning. He offered "loner" heaters but fortunately we had enough heaters to take care of the house overnight. He returned the next morning as promised with the replacement parts and had the furnace up and running by 9:30am,

I just had my furnace replaced by Reliance and I am incredibly pleased with the outcome as well as the five star services provided to me by Darren and his partner, Benny, and Brenda. Just moments after I had placed a call to Reliance, they were able to send Darren over to complete an immediate inspection. Based on the inspection results, Darren provided his professional suggestions to let us find a suitable solution to replace our old furnace. He contacted saleslady Brenda right away, and she finished all paperwork in a timely manner and scheduled the installation for next day. Darren and Benny finished the installation within two days and we are very happy with our new furnace. I would highly recommend Reliance to anyone out there who is in need of any of the services they can provide for they are definitely a trustworthy, fast-acting and reliable company!
