Call Jamie Painting&Drywall

I secured the services of Call Jamie for drywalling, mudding/tapping and painting of my basement development based on the reviews on Home Stars. I could not have been happier with the job and, most of all, the professionalizm I received. We hired Jamie for the job around Christmas and he was very busy at the time. He ended up having to use someone that he normally doesn't use for the drywall and kidding/tapping. The paint was then applied. We were not at all happy with the results. It looked like someone with no experience at the trade had completed the work. Every corner needed to be redone as well as several other bad spots. I was worried we would be taken for a ride as we had already paid and there would be no incentive for Jamie to come take care of this. I couldn't have been more wrong. Within 5 minutes of contacting Jamie he called us and we spoke about our issue. He promised to come over the next day. Jamie arrived the next day and, after many apologies, said he would personally take care of it. And he did! He showed up every evening for about a week until we were happy with the job. He basically had to redo the entire basement. We were thrilled with the results. Jamie went above and beyond our expectations and even treated us with a gift card to the Keg for our understanding. If you want a man and company that you can truly trust I recommend Jamie for your Drywall, Mudding/Taping and painting needs. Thanks Jamie!!

Jamie did superb job! We weren't sure how expensive the repair would cost and our insurance quote was ludacris! Jamie did amazing work for a fraction of the price! You would never guess we had a repair on our ceiling! Pam is also quick to respond and communicate. Thanks guys!

Bought a new condo in downtown Calgary that needed a fresh look and small crack repairs, Jamie arranged for a quick quote that was so reasonably priced. Had a painter in the next day, who was professional, efficient and we were very happy with the final result! Couldn't have asked for a better job.

Jamie repaired a hole and stain in one of our main floor ceilings after a toilet leak from our upstairs; he repaired a skylight channel that had some of the original popcorn come off from the result of a cracked skylight sweating; he repaired a second floor bathroom ceiling that had the popcorn coming off because young boys were experimenting to see if a face cloth would stick to the ceiling when taking a shower; he also re-popcorned and painted over our ensuite shower. All of the repairs were done above our expectations. We are extremely pleased with the results. We were concerned before we asked him to come in. However, Jamie is a very personable guy and gave us a level of comfort from his knowledge and recommendations, which we accepted. We are very pleased with the results of each of the ceilings that he repaired / upgraded / revitalized. And, he had a nearly dustless drywall sanding machine which we greatly appreciated. Relative to sanding drywall, and the like, there was hardly any dust and debris. Thanks, Jamie. The cleaning after he left was very minimal, which we greatly appreciated. We hate drywall dust and how it gets into everything. Maybe that was one of the reasons we waited so long to repair the skylight and the facecloth ceiling. I have already recommended Jamie to a coworker with water damaged ceilings in his home.

We had Jamie help us renovate our new home - it had dated popcorn ceilings through out which he removed and put a knockdown texture in its place. We are so impressed with the change and how refreshed it makes the house look. Jamie and his team have been a joy to work with, friendly, communicative and timely. One of the things we have been so happy with is the care he puts into a job before hand to prep the space - covering floors, using plastic to protect walls etc...great care is made. Would gladly refer Jamie to anyone looking for the services they offer

Great service and the job was well done! They quoted and booked me in extremely quick! The workmanship was high quality. It can be difficult to find contractors to complete these types of jobs, but I would highly recommend Jaime and Pam!

Fantastic people, rushed work. The quality of work is not what I was expecting after reading the reviews on Homestars. The sanding was not blended properly and I can still see the old color through the paint in several places.

We've been waiting over two months now for Jamie to let us know when he can come back to repair/finish the sanding and painting. I understand he was very busy at the time and I did tell him we were not in a rush but two months seems a bit excessive to not hear back. We should have waited to pay until the work was complete as I think we've been forgotten at this point.

These are very good people but the quality of work we received and the lack of communication is disappointing. I spent this week repairing the issues and re-painting, as we are selling our home and could not wait any longer.

On a positive note, the knockdown Jamie did was outstanding but we will not use his services in the future nor recommend them.

We're doing a home Renos and Jamie did an amazing job with the drywall repair work throughout the house. We removed our poly b waterlines which resulted in 20 cutouts in the walls and ceilings. Jamie did such a great job with the patch work, you wouldn't even know any of the holes were there to begin with.

While Jamie was providing a quote for the repair work we talked about options to modernized the house. He suggested removing the popcorn from ceiling and doing knockdown.

He provided a competitive rate so we decided to remove the popcorn from our 1800sqft 4 level split. We left the keys with Jamie, took a family holiday, came back and were blown away with the work!

Excellent work performed by Jamie and his crew. They are VERY professional and always on time. I have high expectations in regards to quality and when it was all said and done, Jamie and his crew provided a quality service. I will certainly call them again.

Jamie and his small crew came in and did a very professional job for us. They took care to cover the floor and carpeted areas of our basement; as well as, areas they frequently walked when bringing in and taking out supplies. Jamie's quote was competitive but definitely not the cheapest. I decided to go with Jamie after reading the reviews on here and after having a chance to meet Pam who came out promptly after I requested a quote. Jamie started and finished the job on time. Jamie turned my scary basement into an exciting new area in our home!! As an added bonus Jamie contracts out a professional cleaning company who come in after the job is completed to complete a very thorough cleaning post renos. We couldn't be happier!
