Joe at Persian Rug Specialist saved our carpet.

In December we went to Persian Rug Specialist as a last chance to see if anything could be done to fix what used to be a beautiful deep wool Chinese carpet ruined when we had it cleaned in London England just before moving to Toronto. The cleaners used industrial strength chemicals and the blue background came back completely faded. When we arrived in Toronto we thought we had no hope but checked Homestars in case there might be a professional rug repairer. We spoke to Joe and he was very honest and gave us great comfort in explaining what he could try. He offered to die a tiny independent section that would not stand out and, if we liked that, could then die the entire blue background. The sample he did looked OK so we asked him to do his best. Yesterday we saw the final result and we were over joyed - Joe and his team returned the entire background to its rich blue colour and have saved our carpet!
