Our washing machine broke down and we called the Appliancerepairguys.ca.
It was $80.00 plus tax for him to come out, which we understood.
We told him the problem and he said to fix should be $280.00 + tax but he would have to look first.
After the technician opened up the machine, he said we needed a new drum and it would cost $1200.00.
No thank you, he closed it up and billed us.
I thought he was billing us $80.00 but he billed us $280.00 + tax.
When we called the company they gave us some non helpful that's our policy type answer.
So, the technician was here for 20 minutes. He didn't fix anything.
He didn't do anything. Why are they charging me $280.00 plus tax??

Update news about the Appliance Repair Guys.
- The Better Business Bureau was ignored by the Appliance Repair Guys.
- When trying to get a charge back from credit card company, it fell on deaf ears.
- The only thing they seem to be afraid of is the Consumer Protection Ontario Agency at https://www.ontario.ca/page/consumer-protection-ontario
You have to file a complaint and jump through a bunch of hoops but in the end, I received a refund cheque.
It took a while.
Everybody, go and do the same.
