On Christmas Eve I woke up to a very cold house so I called my local expert - Ashton Heating. Bill zoomed over incredibly fast to try and get my furnace started before my 50+ guests arrived for a Christmas party. After several attempts to get my old beast of a furnace going, it was unsuccessful - the furnace was pooched. Bill provided amazing heaters to help keep us warm until he could find a team of staff that would come in over the holidays to install a new furnace. Of course it was very difficult to find a crew at Xmas so Bill came with one other employee and did it himself, just so I would have heat for the holidays. I was so impressed with his determination to get things working, then installed so I could have heat. Ive been a home owner for over 30 years and had many different professionals come to fix stuff but Bill and team are top notch. Knowledgeable, reasonable and never wants to replace something that really doesn’t need replacing. I will never look elsewhere for any of my heating/air conditioner needs and neither should you - Ashton’s Heating is amazing.

Woke up New Years with no pilot light. Called Ashton and Bill came out the next day. In less than 45 mins he cleaned a old unit, fixed the logs that were installed wrong adjusted the switch and pilot and fired her up. He brought in missing screws and stayed to check CO2. He vacuumed up any hint that he had visited. Super lovely customer service on the phone and in person. Will use them every year.

This is the best company ever. This is the second time Bill has got me out of a mess at my home.

Ashton Heating was the only place that called me back after my furnace would not work after calling at least 6 different companies. I could not find Ashton Heating's number and after googling furnace repair, their number came up, thank God! They called me right back and was honest in that if they came that night would be an emergency fee but if they came in the morning it would be the standard price. I asked if the pipes would freeze and he assured me they wouldn't. Bill came first thing in the morning and had the problem fixed and he left before 8:00 a.m. I did not have to miss any work and the heat is flowing.

Bill was at our home this evening to perform a maintenance on our (very) old fireplace.

He did a very thorough job and answered all our question. His team also did the same (great) job on my father-in-laws fireplace.

This company gave me an estimate to fix a very poor gas fireplace installation by another company. After the work was done, the bill he presented was reduced by one hour of labour, as he had completed the job faster than originally anticipated. Not only did he seem very honest, he also completed the job very professionally and to my complete satisfaction giving me peace of mind that this was now a safe fireplace to operate. I was very impressed with this company and would recommend them highly.

Bill and his team are our go-to, trusted service providers for all our HVAC needs. He does our annual maintenance very well and provides honest and trustworthy advice and service. With our most recent HVAC spring maintenance, he discovered a few issues with the heat pump on our 5 year old Unico system that would take too long to get the parts to fix, be almost as expensive as replacement and would not ensure longer term reliability - so he was able to quickly install an AC replacement since we were not using the heat function of the heat pump.

We decided to have a full fireplace renovation. Bill gave us some advice and worked together with our contractor to ensure the dry wall and surrounding bricks allowed for the fire to fit in correctly. When up on the roof it was discovered that some minor work was needed. He provided us with a roofer who diagnosed the issue and offered to repair it at a reasonable cost to ourselves.
I trusted Ashton’s with my key which was returned and the home was left as it was found.

The team at Ashton we fantastic. They were very professional, efficient and did a great job on the installation of our air conditioner, humidifier and thermostat. They were extremely neat and clean, through the entire job.

I had my furnace go down on a freezing cold day. I called Ashton Heating and Cooling at noon and had Bill onsite at 2pm. He fixed the problem within 30 mins and was a pleasure to deal with. He also quoted me for stuff in the future. Paying system was really easy. I highly recommend them if you need anything done.
