I chose Niko and Greg because of their great reviews and I was not disappointed. My front garden was not an easy project being a steep slope. Greg was honest about the problems, the need for the sod to be stapled and netted to protect it from raccoons. And then he proceeded to turn my front wasteland into a green haven. Even though the angle of the garden made everything difficult Greg did not compromise and I am very happy with the results. I highly recommend Niko to anyone else who needs the impossible done.

We had used this company to have our backyard re-sodded last year and chose them again to re-sod our front yard as we were, and are, very pleased with the work that was done. Greg promptly dealt with giving us a quote and explained what needed to be done. We were very pleased that we had Devon (who supervised the re-sodding of our backyard) come by last week with his team and once again their work needs to be applauded. Devon ensured that all the work was carried out professionally, efficiently and to our satisfaction. Our neighbours have positively commented and praised our re-sodded lawn. Thank you Greg, Devon and team for a job well done.

Devon and his crew showed up on time and got right to work. On the day in question, another contractor showed up to connect Bell fibre to the houses on our side of the street. Devon coordinated with the fibre crew and waited patiently for them to finish laying their cable before proceeding with the work in the affected areas. He also buried a part of cable left exposed by the other contractor. Since the work had been somewhat delayed, a tent was erected over the sod to keep it from drying out. Prior to laying down the new sod, the old sod was shaved, roto tilled, covered with triple mix, raked and rolled. The sod installation was made more challenging by the landscape features on our lawn but expertly done nonetheless. All of the the work carried out by Devon and his crew was done carefully and methodically. At the end of the job, a thorough cleaning was performed including hosing down the street in front of the house where the soil and sod had been stored. When I asked what was being done with the leftover sod, Devon said I was welcome to it and moved it to the location I indicated. When I pointed out some collateral damage to my neighbour's lawn, Devon laid down some soil and seed to repair it, even though some of the damage had been caused by the fibre crew. After the work was completed, Greg (Nikko's owner) called to make sure I was happy with the work. Overall, Nikko's bent over backwards to make sure I was happy with the job - a refreshing example of old fashioned service.

The staff showed up on time on the agreed day, they did a great job,gave me instructions on how to take care of the new lawn, and cleaned the area before leaving. The lawn looks great, and a neighbour was so impressed that he called niko's gardening to have his lawn replaced.

I contacted Greg at the beginning of the Summer to get a quote (one of 3) to re-sod my backyard in September. He gave me a good quote, along with very knowledgeable advice on what to do. We agreed on a date, and Greg kept in touch to let me know we were on schedule. His team arrived at 8:00 and got straight to work. They finished the job in one day. It looks so good. This was one of the best experiences I have had working with a contractor. Thankyou to Greg, Devon and Armando for your hard work. I will definitely call on you again when the front lawn needs help.

I decided to sell my home and needed pictures for agent but my lawn was overtaken with weeds! I made 1 call to Niko’s, spoke to Greg one time! We discussed area, cost and time frame, Greg ck’d it out following day, we agreed and confirmed. Done. Guys arrived as sch’d, 1 day it was done, looked amazing and cleaned up to boot! Yup. I’m happy = ) . Maybe i should stay .. lol !

Niko's Gardening sodded the back yard as it had not been well maintained over the years. Greg scheduled the job and kept me well informed of any delays due to rain in forecast. Once date was set, Niko's Gardening crew arrived on time at 8 am and got to work. They removed all the weeds and old grass, laid new soil and installed new sod. Grass looks great, green and thick and they did a good job of cutting the sod and re-installing stones that marked border of grass. Both Greg and his crew will pleasant, hard working and easy to deal with. I highly recommend Niko's Gardening for a high quality job.

Niko's did a wonderful job on replacing my front lawn. The owner Greg is very knowledgeable, as are his staff. They started and completed the project professionally. I am thrilled with the end result.

My wife and I are very pleased with our new lawn. The estimate process was very efficient and payment was straightforward and timely. The work had to be completed over 2 days due to inclement weather but preparation, installation and cleanup was completed well under the circumstances and to our complete satisfaction. The watering guide and lawn care outline are extremely helpful in getting everything off on the right footing. And little problems with sod pieces were dealt with quickly and completely.
All in all, a job very well done. We would strongly recommend Niko’s Gardening to others.

Niko's just re-sodded our front lawn. They clearly know what they are doing. This was not like hiring any gardening company to throw down some new sod. These folks assessed the yard for the type of sod that would give the best results, they prepared the yard ahead of time, removed the old sod, provided triple mix soil, leveled the yard, all before laying the new sod down. Then they provided detailed instructions on how to care for the new sod to ensure success. Devon and his crew were perfectionists and the new yard looks great. We heartily recommend this company...they deserve all the great reviews they get.
