I hired this company to move from Toronto to New York. Four movers arrived and quickly packed and wrapped all my furniture and belongings. They were very quick and efficient. My belongings arrive in New York on the agreed upon date. I was very happy with the service and price.

This is the second time I have used this company to move. There were many parts to this move. Some of the furniture and belongings were going to another house, some went into storage and some was delivered to my daughter's house. The salesperson organized the move to make it as economical and to go as smoothly as possible. The crew did a terrific job moving us even though it was one of the hottest days of the summer. They arrived on time, and were polite and courteous. I was very happy with the service of everyone who worked on my move.

Initially, the information and customer service appeared well versed. My boxes were delivered to Global in person.
I was quoted, and signed off on an amount, however, I was charged $35 more. Apparently, (they) charge 3% if you use a credit card!!! Sounds a bit like Europe.
After one month of not hearing, I called the office and spoke with the receptionist. I was rudely informed by her that my boxes had arrived two weeks ago and were waiting in their brokers warehouse for ME to call them and make my own arrangements for delivery to the UK destination!!!! Make my own overseas call, pay the cost of that call, but don't bother to inform me that the boxes had even arrived. Needless to say, I was annoyed and I told her so. Her response was " OMG, I do NOT want to hear any more of your complaining." That, is an endearing customer service response.....I asked her if she spoke to all of her customers in that tone and manner? She cut me off and transferred me to my sales person. He said he couldn't do anything about her attitude!!!! I wrote an email to the owner, again there was NO apology for his employees rudeness. I told him that I wanted an apology from her. None arrived.
It is interesting, I was originally impressed, being Greek, they have a wonderful customer service track record. Greek people are extremely polite. The receptionist isn't Greek. Perhaps that is why she didn't follow the polite protocols of her superiors.
If you don't mind not knowing why your belongings are, if you don't mind being charged extra (after) you are billed, if you don't mind being spoken to like you are dirt under someone's shoes, then, by all means, use this company.

Global international recently moved my inlaws back to Toronto from overseas . The sales staff were professional and everything arrived on time and in good condition. Thanks Global for a great job!

I just moved back to Toronto from London, England with Global International Canada. I was so pleased with the service I received.Everyone was so professional. All my questions were promptly answered and the move went according to the guidelines given. Gerry, Mike and Yazzi did a great job unpacking my belongings and furniture and took all the debris out of the house before they left. I would highly recommend Global to anyone planning an overseas move.

I had received quotes from about 5 companies. This company I checked and did not have a BBB compliant and the sales person seemed like he would be on the ball and kept providing info. We agreed to a price. Then I was told it would be more as they packed. Fine. The final price was about the higher quotes I had and I had no choice as I was moving. Buyer beware when you are at the mercy of movers on the day you move. Then when I get them to my new place, some were damaged and others just lost. Lost? How do you lose boxes in transit? I was told and given two options for insurance, and have been trying to get my money back for months. Buyer beware. Re the move part, they were OK. Re the customer support and follow-up, FAIL.
