Undiscovered damages costing me $1200
Everything looks good until we discover the undisclosed and unidentified defects in the home. Inspection missed to identify a leaky water valve on ceiling and did not identify the rotten carpet , probably caused by water damage. Reviews can be excellent for others but when you have to pay huge amount to fix a home which could have been avoided, then it is 0 star. This review for 4sight.homestars.com. As noted in our emails back and forth there was no damage at the time of the inspection that was either visible or notable through the thermal camera. There are multiple photo's of the area in the basement and there is nothing there. Your inspection was in September and after that there were multiple days of freezing temperatures which could have caused the valve or pipe to the exterior hose bib to begin leaking. I have always done all I can to ensure that all identifiable defects are noted and I did so in your home. The defects you are bringing up did not exist at the time of the inspection. I am sorry you feel this is my fault but I did my job as I always do.
