Home inspection - THANK YOU Michael and 4Sight!!!
Michael did an excellent job with the inspection done as a condition of a home purchase. He was very thorough and identified issues to look out for proactively. The best part is that Michael's keen eye noticed that the roof was slightly sloping, and when investigating, noticed that the garage loft that was built potentially had some structural issues that required investigation. The current owner had done an inspection as well and their inspector did not identify this issue at all. Thankfully, Michael helped position us to negotiate with the owner to rectify the issue. This was HUGE! I'm not sure I would have seen this issue unless it was pointed out either. THANK YOU MICHAEL! My experience is also a good lesson that you should never use an inspector recommended by a real estate agent, there could be some bias! Get a 3rd party objective opinion and you probably want Michael and 4Sight on your side for this too! Cheers.

Thank you so much Brian. I am happy to hear you were able to negotiate and be able to resolve the problem. Structural issues aren't always just in the foundation. Over time the structural issue in your new garage could have become quite severe and caused even more damage or even injured someone.
