As a first time buyer, I relied on Michael to give me the guidance and comfort that I was buying a quality home. I met him at 8AM and we spent 3 hours as he had promised going through every nook and cranny. Within hours I received a detailed report of the major issues. It so happened the house was perfect BUT the roof had a minor issue that is being repaired before closing with warranty. A day later I got a report on the appliances and found out the dishwasher was a potential recall item. I am yet to address this issue. All in all, the morning I spent with Michael was a "Home Inspection 101" class and I will call him in when I am done with my basement.

You have chosen a very nice house and I am sure you will have many happy years there but I should point out that while the house is perfect for you it is not a perfect house. There were other things wrong besides the roof. Luckily though it was all maintenance items.. Just remember your preventative maintenance.
