Golden West Exteriors

Kudos to the entire staff at Golden West Exteriors.... Larry, my salesman, Cory the owner who came to inspect finished roof, and Alexi and Matt, the roofers. I am now the proud owner of a new roof complete with 2 additional turbine vents. I chose GW Exteriors after getting quotes from 3 other companies. GW was the only company who replied promptly and took the time to come to my home. Larry inspected my roof, took photos of the problem areas to show to me and showed me samples of the various brands of shingles and underlay, giving the pros and cons for each product. All was very well explained and all of my queries were answered so that there were no surprises with the installation. Roofers were always punctual, very polite and cleaned up any fallen debris at end of each day. A class act from start to finish. I have already sang their praises to 3 family members who will be re-roofing in next year.

Contractor provided a detailed estimate with many options to consider. Price was not the lowest we received, but was competitive. Work was done promptly, and all specified work was completed as described. Company showed up wirh an 8 man crew, so work was completed in one work day. Final job looks very good. Overall quite satisfied, with our only quibble being that there were days when worhers were supposed to arrive on site, and did not. This meant I spent a total of 3 days staying home for no reason. Communications could have been better. Part of their scope of work was to clean out our eavestrough at the end of the job. I have since checked, and they did not do this. I am quite disappointed.

I had a few companies come over and give me an estimate to reshingle my roof. Some were good and was torn between 3 of them. I finally picked Golden West Exrteriors because of the estimator (Larry Elger) who went into great detail about the product that they use and how passionate he was about it, a superior product than the other companies. They done an excellent job and were finished in one day, including the removal of the old shingles and installation of the new ones including all vent rec. And the clean up was very good, no mess left anywhere. Cory Gardner came by later and done the inspection and went over it with me. Would recommend this company to anyone.

After getting 3 estimates, I went with Golden West. Not because they were the cheapest (they weren't), but because of the lifetime warranty on the workmanship, and because of Cory's willingness to explain things, and answer any questions and concerns I had during the decision making process. The job was done in a day, thoroughly cleaned up, and within the scheduled timeframe. Thanks Cory and crew!

Larry came and did a very thorough quote. Went through everything with me and even peeked in my attic to check the venting. The did the whole job in one day. We're very satisfied.

I solicited several written quotations and had multiple conversations prior to selecting a contractor to repair shingling the roof of my home and garage. I met with Cory Gardner of Golden West Exteriors personally on three occasions in addition to conversing by telephone during the process. I had a lot of questions and comparisons generated from all of my quotations. On our first meeting, Cory and I met for at least 30 minutes at my home to discuss some of my concerns and questions. When I finally settled on my choice of contractor, I met with Cory again at my home to address additional issues PRIOR to the start of the work. As I was at home over the time the work was carried out, I had the opportunity to observe his crew. I found them to be pleasant, professional, hard-working, and respectful of my concerns and requests. When the project was completed, I met with Cory once more to ensure that the final inspection was appropriate and completed to my satisfaction. Final issues raised at that meeting were appropriately addressed by Cory and his crew to complete the job. I greatly appreciated the time Cory took to address my concerns and meet with me, and I found him to be cordial and professional in his interactions.

Dallas and his team did a really great job at our home. I have already been asked by the folks down the street what company we used. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for one company to do their entire exterior.

I contacted Golden West Exteriors from an ad on kijiji I was looking for competitive bis from contractors for the home we were building, I thought that they would just do the roof but i ended up having them do my siding and eavesthough too. the guys were a pleasure to deal with, they pointed out some errors from my framers but fixed them without charging me extra, I had them come back this year to do the shop. it wasn't the same installers that did the house but they also did a good job.

Golden West did a great job replacing our roof. Their pricing was competitive and the install team did a great job! Even with the clean up. I Would highly recommend them.

I hired golden west exteriors to do our roof because we were having ice damming issues this winter. They relayed the process step by step and told us about preventing ice damming with eave protection and drip cap. I was concerned I did not have enough vents so when the installers were here they added 3 vents at no extra charge. We hope to have a worry free winter now that the roof has been replaced. I would recommend this company to our friends.
