Overall I was dissatisfied and would not use them again for refer them to others.
A simple job of fixing leaky taps of tub and bathroom sink, turned into a $650 job. Super expensive.
The guys had to come three times to resolve the plumbing issues at our rental property! This is a huge hassle when I have to notify four tenants of water shutoffs and arrange for access and meet them there!
They were also over an hour and a half late. This is a big deal as a landlord when I took time off work to meet them there. They didn't have the appropriate tools one time (no snake on hand).
They fixed one thing then the next day something they had fiddled with was leaking the next day - same sink! Why didn't the technician check for leaks under the sink he had repaired? He fixed the upper tap, but then the next day the piping under that sink was leaking. They insisted it was unrelated. Why wouldn't they have checked under the sink that it wasn't leaking afterwards?
The billing was incorrect twice. I caught the error. They also never sent me a receipt despite me asking for one by email twice for tax purposes.
They offer 10% discount for SCLD members but it isn't worth it. They are still over priced. The technician I had wasn't as competent and I'd like to see.
I did talk to the owner on the phone. He was willing to negotiate on splitting the cost on one repair (that really arguable was their fault) and not charging for showing up on a second visit (the next day!)
It was a terrible ordeal with many hours waiting for them, dealing with them on the phone, discussing the issues and rebooking appointments. I don't trust them.
I really dislike companies that charge to just show up. Then when they don't fix the problem or create new problems, it is cause for concern.
