I was extremely pleased with the service received from Day & Knight. I called to make an appointment and the call was answered quickly and an appointment made for the next day. The plumber arrived exactly on time and did a thorough and excellent job. Would highly recommend them.

I have dealt with Day & Knight for a few years now for a variety of needs. Today Paul showed up the same day and re-plumbed the drains under the kitchen sink after we had a blockage and I realized that the original plumbing was done improperly.

I had him take care of a few minor issues as well and the job was done quickly for a very reasonable rate.

After having some issues with my hot water tank, I turned to HomeStars to find a plumbing service to help. Once I read the reviews for Day and Knight Plumbing and Heating, and after talking to Linda I was confident I made the right choice. Right from that initial phone call I felt like my needs were of the utmost importance and that Day and Knight went above and beyond to ensure my issue was addressed promptly and in a way that exceeded my expectations. Paul came initially to diagnose the issue and took his time to answer all my questions and give me a variety of options - even looking at things that were not related to my original issue. He is a wealth of knowledge, super friendly, easy to work with and wanted to ensure that I was happy with everything. I never felt pressured or rushed or made to feel bad for needing to have things explained. He genuinely cares about the client and what is best for them. Paul and Austin came to replace my water tank a day later. They were able to come earlier than planned, worked extremely efficiently and were meticulous with their work - both are experts in what they do, are extremely friendly and polite and care about what they are doing. They went above and beyond and once again exceeded my expectations. Price was exactly as quoted and very affordable, everything was shown to me and explained and if I had any questions about anything in the future I was encouraged to call at any time regardless of what the question is.
I will absolutely use Day and Knight again and will be recommending them to all I know.

My furnace has been finicky, so I called Ted again after excellent service twice before (hot water heater and new toilets installed). Austin came out the very next day and put in the new sensor. He is very knowledgeable and professional. This is the only company I’ll call for P&H things! Exceptionally fair prices- I would pay a lot more for this level of service. I cannot speak highly enough about Day and Knight.

Day & Knight helped me with a hot water tank that sprung a leak. I read their previous reviews and was comfortable selecting them. I wasn't disappointed. Everything was over and done within 4 hours of when I first placed the call. New Bradford and White tank better insulated than my last one.

Over the past few months, we have used Day & Knight to replace our kitchen garburator and hot water tank. We have also called on them for other plumbing and furnace repairs. In all cases, our expectations were met or exceeded.
Ted and Austin are very knowledgeable and are extremely professional. They always arrived on time and were very efficient and consistent in their level and quality of service. They took the time the explain the problem and the options available to correct it.

I contacted 3 plumbing companies, and decided to hire Day & Knight based on their Homestar reviews. I have found the reviews to be entirely justified. Day and Knight had to complete the work in two stages; they (Ted, and Austin) were v responsive, professional, prompt and provided excellent value for money. I'd most definitely use them again and highly recommend them. Their final cost was almost 2/3 LESS than what was quoted to me by one of their competitors!

Efficient, punctual and friendly workmanship. Austin arrived as promised and worked steadily without any waste of time. Having had a poor response from several plumbers in the Woodbine area I was very impressed with this company including the scheduler who answered the phone. I would make these plumbers my first plumbers of choice.
