I seek out and stick with companies who pride themselves in customer service. They answered the phone, they returned calls and emails, they sent the estimator and the painter when they said they were going to. They were friendly, quick, and communicative. They also did a very good job. In a world when its hard to get a tradesmen to return a simple phone call, this group goes over and above that expectation. I had a complete understanding of what I was spending and what I was getting. And we got it. I fully recommend Certa Pro

I have very old ceilings that were covered in popcorn stipple. To complicate matters the original owner applied the stipple incorrectly. CertaPro removed all the popcorn, repaired and painted the ceiling and touched up the wall paint. They were on time, on budget and communicated the job progress. My ceilings look great! This is my second positive experience with this company.

We hired CertaPro to paint the downstairs of our 2 story home, as well as the halls leading upstairs and to the basement. They did an excellent job. They were professional from the estimate to the finish of the job. The painters were meticulous and very neat & tidy. The price was very reasonable for what we had done. We would not hesitate to hire CertaPro for future jobs.

Initial meeting was great. Very professional, detailed estimate. Painters were punctual, polite and called at the end of each day to update us on the progress of the job. After the second day, the painter would complain on how much work this large empty house was...
Unfortunately, the job was sloppy to say the least. There were paint splatters on the hardwood floor and tile in EVERY ROOM as well as on cabinets, counters and toilets. They did not paint close enough to the electrical outlets and you could still see the previous color underneath. They pulled a bit too hard on the toilet when painting behind which caused a leak in our basement (they knew about it since they had put a rag down, but never told us about it) We did not know about any of this since we do not currently live in this house. We found cigaret buts in the toilet which means that they were smoking in the house.
When we told the company about this, they offered to send the same painters back to do what they called "touch ups". By the time that we got their reply (a few days later) we had already taken a day off work to do the touch ups, fix the toilet and scrape the paint off the floors. Now after two months of us inquiring on how we could be compensated, we get a new invoice with a mere $100 off of our bill... Insulting to say the lease. Based on the lack of accountability, I cannot recommend or trust this company!

We recently had some new windows installed and subsequently decided that a fresh paint job in those rooms was in order. We saw a lawn sign advertising CertaPro and gave them a call. We are so happy we did. Emil is the painter who worked wonders for us. He performed some (minor) repairs to our walls and did a fabulous paint job. The quality of his work is exceptional: beautiful cut lines between walls and ceiling, perfectly smooth coverage, and no paint drips on walls or floors. He was a pleasure to have in the house. The whole CertaPro team was a pleasure to deal with, from the initial interview by David Graham to Stephanie, the Office Manager who guided us every step of the way, to the painter himself. I'd recommend CertaPro to everyone I know.

We hired CertaPro Ottawa to paint our entire house, which involved three floors, all ceilings and closet doors. This also involved some major repairs to walls. The work was very well done and our old house has now been transformed. All painters on our project were very capable and accommodating, especially our lead painter, John, who was fantastic to work with. He is extremely client-focused, very engaging and determined to do a good job, including any small touch ups that were required. Communications with CertaPro throughout was very prompt and professional. We highly recommend CertaPro Painters.

Got two bedrooms and a garage wall painted. Got excellent advice as to adding trim and caulking to minimize cold in adjoining room. (And the room IS warmer now!) Emil was very polite and accommodating. My aunt (age 95) and I felt comfortable with him in the house. He was friendly and respectful. Also worked steadily in order to complete our projects quickly. Put an additional coat of paint on any walls that HE felt needed them ... a hard-working perfectionist!

I needed to paint two drab and dated houses that back on one another. Etienne, Carlos and Cyle did an amazing job-true professionals. Price was excellent as was quality of the product and service. They walked me through every step. They put up 6 sample colours when I was having trouble deciding! Complete clean up at the end of each day. Very respectful of us as well as our property. Impeccable work down to the finest detail. We had them do an inside room as well and their high-end workmanship was as evident inside as out! They even took care of our resident Husky who "supervised" their every move. There can be no better painting company in Ottawa. Pictures tell the story
