We needed our basement renovated due to water damage that had caused black mold to grow in our downstairs living room.
After we completed the mold cleanup, we were left with a bare slate so we got a few quotes to revamp the front room, hall, and back bedroom. We wanted to update it - we had very old wood-look panelling in mis-matched patterns. Hidri contracting gave a decent quote to finish it. We then noticed we had another problem with the basement washroom. The shower was leaking and caused more water damage in the adjoining kitchen. Again we had black mold growing. We asked Hidri Contracting to adjust their quote to include the bathroom. They fully understood our dilemma and gave a very fair price to include it. What I love most about Hidri Contracting is their attention to detail and ability to adjust the plan to accommodate surprises. They found we still had a water issue under the front of the house and made the proper repairs by digging and adding weeping tile to connect to the existing one. They updated our electrical and plumbing to code and did a very professional job. He also made several suggestions and recommendations which contributed to our plans and we felt that this added to make this renovation look better. He was always there to please us and we would recommend him to other people.
