Ecotech Windows & Doors

I was happy with the work they performed and I'm still happy with the windows, now the front door is total caos... and it is sad that has to come to this point I didn't really want to leave a bad review.... Here's the story, the front door had a paint issue and Ecotech got a replacement after a few (4-5) months, Dina even thanked us for being so patient and honestly I don't mind waiting as long as the job gets done right... As I mentioned on my previous review, Leo and his team did an amazing job doing the windows and door install and I hate the fact that the front door had an issue. So everything was great until this other person came to replace the door, for a "NEW" one which is all beat up on the sides and looks like they ran out of paint and you can still see white stripes from a brush. The installer, Alexander, that came to do the replacement really messed up the work Leo did, first he scheduled an installation date and never showed up, my wife called him since it was pass the time he said he was showing up and he said oh yes I'm not coming, I was going to call you later... REALLY???. Then, when he showed up and did the replacement he did a lousy job, broke a screw that holds the door to the frame and said, NO WORRIES THERE ARE ENOUGH SCREWS TO HOLD IT...AGAIN REALLY??? I guess when he buys a brand new car he doesn't care if it is scratched or dent or if is missing a cylinder.... He also forgot to install the bottom weather strip, my wife asked him why there was an opening on the bottom? and he said OHH I ALMOST FORGOT..... AGAIN REALLY???? Unfortunately, because of work, I was not present during the replacement... Then when we try to lock the door it was impossible, I had to take the handle apart because he tightened it too much so you almost had to break the key to get the lock to turn... GOOD JOB BUDDY!!! Also there is a lot of outdoor noise filtering thru the door which didn't happened to the previous one... and to top it off, during the winter I had a cold draft coming from the bottom of the door and what do I find out? the screws are stripped and the weather strip is flapping around. I keep calling DINA but it looks like she is just ignoring my calls now... Hopefully this way I can get the issue fixed....ohh and when my wife mentioned to the installer about the crappy paint job on the sides of the door he said you won't see that and it can be fixed with touch paint.... WOW!!!!

I had all the windows in my house re-done and my front door. Their salesman (Mark) spent several hours with me intially choosing the design (I had a custom idea for grilles) and colours and explaining the different options of doors.

All dates agreed to were kept and the installers cleaned up after themselves and were very professional.

All in all, I would use these guys any time.

We wanted all new windows and a patio door installing and hoped to keep our existing shutters. Mark, Vince and the team pulled out all the stops to ensure are hopes were met. The installation crew worked tirelessly for 4 days on the installation and making custom jambs for the door and all the windows. The house was cleaned every day as the job progressed and the windows look great. I know I had a lot of demands at the start of the project, but Ecotech met them all.

I worked with Alex and his crew. No complain, good job, on time. I like windows and everything we agreed on was done. Alex showed me the window before they installed it. Other people just talked about it. That was one of the deciding factors for me.

Don was excellent he explained everything. Compared to the other sales people he was very honest and thorough. Momo the installer was fantastic. Use these guys if you can. I highly recommend them.

I wanted a new patio door installed as our old one was leaking air and I could see that there was some water penetration. While driving on Steeles Avenue I saw Ecotech Windows and doors. I walked in and I was able to see the doors that they install. The Vista door is the standard which most installers use and while it is acceptable I wanted something a little more structurally heavier. They suggested the Novatech door. Serge their salesman visited and gave me a reasonable price for the up-rated door and as promised today their installer Vadim came with the door. The door itself is incredible and Vadim did an awesome job with the install. In my experience with windows and doors, the installation is just as important or even more important than the product and Vadim took all the necessary steps to make the door weatherproof and look good. I am impressed with Ecotech they supplied and did what they said they would do for the price and on time. I would most definitely recommend them based on my experience. In terms of patio doors I believe the Vista is a good door and is the standard but if you want something a little more sturdy, the Novatech is the one.

Great Service and great installers! Extremely satisfied. On Time and pretty good pricing. I will use them again for sure in my other projects. They have good quality and lots of designs and colors to choose from.

The installers were excellent. The lady in the office was very pleasant, understanding and accommodation. The windows look absolutely beautiful. There was a hiccup which was no one's fault really and it was handled extremely well.

We hired EcoTech Windows to replace all widows in one of the apartment building in that we manage. Mark was professional and very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. He delivered what he promised. Everything was done in promised time. we and all our tenants have only high praise for their work. We are saving a lot in the energy cost after . We shall recommend EcoTech to everybody.

Good quality, but no follow up. We now have had our windows and doors for over a year. We have had several issues. Lock on back door malfunctions-freezes- it's under warranty- but we can't get ecotech to come out to fix or replace it. Living room windows the rubber surround is crinkled again they don't come out. Another door to the garage has a bulge in it. We mentioned it and still nothing. The install was fine but there is little to no follow up.
