Good work done. I had new sockets installed and overhead lights in basement rewired and made to function. The only real problem is that they were not able to fix my back door light. Not enough investigation was done of o the problem causing the light not to work. So now i have to hire someone else.

Requested a quotation for electrical work, including a new panel, redoing circuits, and rough in for future services. Brian was very prompt with his response and visited our house right away and provided a quotation within a few days. We did not proceed with this work, but we were very happy with his quick response to our need.

Brian responded to my email queries quickly, answered all of my questions, and set up a time to complete this job that fit my tight schedule. On the day of the work, Brian & his colleague completed the full job for the quoted costs despite complications presented by our 90+ year-old home. They were friendly, professional and did excellent work. They used high quality products (fan, insulated ducting) and explained to me clearly what they were doing. They were respectful of me and my home and cleaned up the job site very well despite lots of dust. We would certainly hire Volt Master again and recommend them to friends. While we have used Home Stars many times to hire professionals, this is the first time I felt strongly enough to post a review.

Volt Master supplied and installed creative in cabinet and under counter lighting solutions for a kitchen upgrade as well as installing new lighting fixtures and correcting some deficiencies with existing outlets.
Brian took the time to understand our needs and provided solutions with quality products. The job was completed on schedule and response was prompt to any questions. Work was done with attention to detail and in compliance with code.

Originally I required an electrical system inspection by a Master Electrician to create a report to be provided to an Insurance company to secure home insurance for a new home purchase as the home being purchased used aluminum wire rather than copper wire in the electrical system.

Post home purchase, I used Volt Master to repair the deficiencies which were discovered during the inspection.

Brian was always helpful and courteous during the several visits to complete the small projects which I required. I had the company install an electrical sub-panel, replace various light switches, receptacles, installing pot lights as well as to replace the clothes-dryer vent system which was not up to code.

Volt Master was referred to me because I had an electric circuit that was shorting out in only three areas of the house on two floors, despite checking breakers etc. It was obvious there was a short somewhere. We had one company come in but they could not find the problem. Volt master came in and we had lights back within 30 mins. and a complete resolution within two days. We also remedied issues that would ensure smooth operation in the future.

From the initial consultation, planning, rough in work to the end product, Brian and Kevin have been complete professionals. The extra time and pride in workmanship is very evident in the finished product. The little extras that you won't get with other electricians really completes the job. The quote received for the work to be completed was reasonable and competitive. Brian & Kevin showed up on time and completed the rewiring in a timely manner. Brian had to come back to relocate 4 outlets to locations for my partner's convenience, including two countertop pop-up outlets. There were other required visits to wire the pop-ups, oven and cooktop. All work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

Brian worked with us and our tight schedule to get our kitchen reno completed. He came on time and was always available for any issues we had in changing the design or location of outlets. Once inspected there were no issues and the inspector noted his attention to detail. Brian minimized any damage they needed to make to the walls and cleaned up after. We would recommend Brian for any electrical needs.
